Now he moved the debate to the issue of either enforcing the law or changing the law. This is the right way to go anyway you look at it.

Right so instead of do his job ( and what he was elected to do) he’s trying to shift it onto congress.

That would be like saying a cop who refuses to arrest a criminal and instead tells the lawmakers to change the law, is doing the right thing.

ā€œWhy didn’t you arrest that thief officer? Fuck off, I don’t like this law, the mayor should change itā€

You wanna change the law? Fine, but until you do it’s still the law, and him not enforcing it is dereliction of duty.

I have no idea what you are discussing right now, but on thing game a a pause.
Is it really presidents job to enforce law? Isn’t that what justice system is for?

Justice system is part of the executive power (except for judiciary branch) and the president is the highest representative of the executive power, so technicaly it’s his job to enforce law, although he apoints other people for the task.

Sad to say you have a firmer grasp on how the American government works than most Americans.

That’s how every government works.

I’m not so sure about that.

That is what we think because the Czech(oslovak) division of powers and checks and balances in 1920 was designed after the US model. Don’t take it for granted and don’t think it is a universal value.

For fuck’s sake.

That is one way provide public service by a broadcaster I guess.

I have to be in a coma or something this can’t be reality

Hmmm, I’m pretty sure it’s standard in the western world for police and public prosecution to be part of executive power. Obviously there are different levels of independence, but that doesn’t change the fact that ultimately, if the police or prosecution don’t do their job properly, the government will be held responsible.

No, it isn’t. In many countries prosecution is part of Judiciary,

I love how this dickhead claims to be an objective journalist.
