Tying up loose ends of quests aka Post-completion artifacts

a One:
Pestilence quest did not clear from my list or give me a “Completed”, although I got the cure delivered, but potions still appear in my inventory, after giving them to two people.
Quest told me to wait, but I left to deliver the prisoner to Rattay jail and came back several times.
Finally Found crosses off the doors and the people no longer sick, but when I have dialogue with anyone, the menu only gives me the option to ask “What happened here?”
Maybe I have to speak with that one individual. Forgot his name.
I’ll go back and try that.

“Bird in the hand” Quest"
Dropped off cages. Left area. When I came back, cages empty, and one cage was missing. Cage marker showed it back with the quest giver, but I could not find it there. I can see the cage marker. Looks like cage should be in the house. Check house, marker looks like it should be outside behind the wood pile.
Can’t find this damn cage.
When I went back to the area, another cage was missing. Could not find the cage marker on the map anywhere.
Just disappeared.

you do. that talk will clear it as he tells you the results from the village view and if you did good he offers a reward.

What path did you pick?
The best way is to say you need a lot of men and go thru the path that is over the bridge and you should be taking out the archers along the way and at the walls. also take out the heavies and pole arms guys quick as you can.

As to the runt bug I can’t say as I have not gotten to there yet on 1.5.

i get over the bridge and i cant hit the archers bewhind the wall im not that good with a bow
and i use a cheat called one hit kill so to make it faster and super speed xD

i love this game but i cant finsh this quest :frowning: im stock at this quest now for 2 weeks or sins 1.2 :frowning:

@TayJess:
Since you are not adverse to mods. I suggest for bows is to get the gold dot mod and robinhood mod. Gold dot keeps the dot on with the bow and robinhood besides the carry bonus will stop the bow wiggle.
If you have capon’s hunting bow get the mod for it . Pick the deadliness’ you want.
Also faster arrows mod. to skill up without cheating go to Rattay or Ushitz ranges and take a tourney at your level. A win will at give about 10-20% more to your skill and some coin.
Maces poisoned with a modded baine poison do wonders of hurt on armored foes.

I failed that battle so many times, I kept trying to develope a strategy for my next try.
I decided to made it fun, not really caring whether I was successful or not.
Ratzig tells you what to do, “Take out the archers!”

I kept finding out what didn’t work, so I tried something else.
Getting flustered didn’t help.
I had prepared about 20 poisoned Piercing arrows and poisoned my sword for this fight.
I also drank Aqua Vitalis and Bucks Blood outside the gate.

What I eventually focused on:
At the front gate do a save, so when you fail, you’re right there.

I had my bow and ran to the gate in front of our soldiers to get a few shots off at the Cumans standing inside.
Then left the soldiers take care of those Cumans.
When you enter the gate, there will be archers to your left up on a platform firing down.
I focused on taking them out with poisoned Piercing arrows I prepared.
They do the most damage.
If you leave any standing, they will run down past you, in which case you can draw your sword and cut them down.
If any get past you, equip your bow again, chase after them and fire from a safe distance.
Your allies will run up the hill. Follow them and then try to take out the archers standing on the fort wall.
You will eventually need to draw your sword and fight.
Later bandit reinforcements come running up the hill. I took out a few with my bow, then had to equip my sword.
Just have fun with it

@GJSterpka give the long version of what is said and well done too.
But don’t forget about the mods and skill up to be more deadly with bows.

i made my choose i`m not going to play it anymore till it fixt or when i get someone that will do it for me :stuck_out_tongue: i dont want to spend hours on this quest what i al ready do :frowning:

Are also having technical problems? I saw your removed post and didn’t understand it. but looked like you were having a problem with your PC.
How old is it? are the drivers for it current?
was the game steam or GOG?

my pc is a very good gaming pc its only 2 years old and i play it on steam

then what was all those error code looking print out you posted?
Is the game crashing? Locking up?
have you removed the mod you are using to see if it is causing trouble?
I have run across mod that have not been updated and cause problems because of the new patches. The 1.2 you refer, is it the patch you are on?
Have you tried to verify the game with steam to see if that fixes
If none work , deleting the game and old saves and reinstalling from steam with the latest patch?
