This (and perfect weather) is the reason I’m staying silent until the patch drops and I can try it out myself. Rick posted to the xbox sub on Reddit regarding the next patch for consoles, which is a big deal to me. They’ve never posted there much before, like three or four times since the game was announced years ago. It’s a good sign to see them paying attention to a sub with over 300k potential KCD players.

Already deleted the game on PS4 and moved on. Maybe in a year or so the game will be playable–as it stands right now(on PS4) not playable or playable with a level of frustration that makes it not fun to play:). I look forward to the day when they have this game fixed–as it had the potential to be an awesome game!

Please don’t comment or reply about politics in this thread. It’s gotten off topic enough in general to where I’m about to ask the mods to lock it from further comments. This is despite the fact that my post is getting more exposure everytime someone replies in here, even if its about internet speeds and other games.

This isn’t about Holt’s tenure (if such a thing really matters anyways) on KC:D’s forum. Its about thoughtful and, at times, heated debate over how this game can be improved and turn into an impactful and successful franchise.
I hope Holt’s apparent passion for this game continues, especially in this thread. It seems like we feel similarly and seek the same thing. I said quite plainly I wanted the discussion to continue around the topic I posed or not at all. You haphazardly called this self indulgent. Let me remind you, Quester of The Bald Man in the Canoe, that I called for focused discussion, and I also said that in the continued absence of focused discussion, I would ask this post be locked. I even explained why I would do it and you still had to get quasi righteous with me.

I have posted many times before under a different handle in efforts to get WarHorse to pay closer attention to consoles, and being nice wasn’t cutting it. Thanks for the that short but solid overview of regression testing and change control. At least now I have some idea of what you’re talking about. I thought WH had some very competent people at its core. How could they let such important positions go to inexperienced people?
