I’ll be waiting by the mailbox…

You broke my face when I slammed my head down on my desk after reading your post. You’ll be hearing from my lawyer.

Well i mean if the game forces the screen to flicker at a ridiculous speed it could mess a monotor up
Very unlikely tho

His partner probably burnt it cause he was too busy so it went and got a cuck THE TV. DUDE GOT SPLUGED ON

Hahaha, someone needs to put the pipe down :joy::joy::joy:

Alrightly a half serious half joking answer-

Game runs via windows. Windows broke your monitor.

If it is at all possible (and in a world with infinite possibilities -it is!)-then Windows which has never shown an interest in caring for users hardware- is likely the culprit.

I have seen, like others, that changing gamma in the game changes the system gamma (and hence have left game gamma at default),… and that would be the most credibility that forum goers here could lend to this story…

I game on a plasma screen.
These can (like all screens ‘can’) have image retention.

Generally requires leaving a static image up for a long time. As already mentioned in thread- pixel massaging software is available and can sometimes restore a dead pixel etc…
But you backlight being locked on full or whatever isnt the fault of the game-

Now if you have a no name monitor that doesnt know how to handle itself in non default usage scenarios (something win10 will ‘accidentally enforce’ whenever it wants)… it might die a horrible death.
That is still a manufacturers /engineers issue.

Even if the monitor died with the Warhorse logo etched into it, say from a menu screen left up for twelve hours (which even OLED and Plasma would generally bounce back from unless, again, it was a cheaper panel…) you’d not have a leg to stand on.

Quite simply it isnt within the realm of reason.
The sort of things that could contribute to issues would be if you overclocked your monitor to get a few extra Hz (frames per second viewable)…

At the end of the day I hazard it is a cheap monitor with hopeless power regulation and it died the death the manufacturer always planned for it.
Most make it out of warranty.
Sony is a master at planned obsolesense. (Ive had so many of their products die a week out of warranty)

Anyhow- much allegations that without any tech speak to define what happened.
You had a convo with a techie who felt empathy and found lots of agreeable things to say.
Or was it a salesperson (also a PC technician) at the computer store where you bought the monitor…

In which case they should be handling this return for you.
In my country with have a few governing laws- one for early life failure (say a fault out of the box or a week or so in…; swap for new item), and the retailer has to act as an agent on the consumers behalf when dealing with the manufacturer.

If you paid for an inspection you would have a pronter report…

Sorry, but No. There is no way this game, or any other, could be causing permanent damage to your PC. What is most likely happening is that your video card is overheating, or starting to fail, even though you said you replaced it recently.

Do update us please. I’m dying to know how you’re going to prove a causal link between running the game and your monitor breaking.

Yes please i want to know how this plays out.:joy:

i just wana know how sueing someone who lives in czechoslovakia works.

lolol it certainly wont be his ass lolol

Lmao. Wtf …no…just no.

Lmfao stfu and gtfo

I highly doubt this is true and he is just wanting attention, plus if you are slandering a companies name and making false accusations to buying customers they can sue you for this. Just be aware, since you have literally no idea what the hell you are talking about.

If someone would believe this…

Re-running the game multiple times might cause Gamma to stay stuck increased, until your next system reboot.

It doesn’t because Czechoslovakia hasn’t existed since 1993.

If you want to sue someone in the Czech republic and you live in a different state, this situation is governed by an area called private international law. If you want to learn more, most likely the EU regulation no. 1215/2012 will decide which court has “jurisdiction” and the regulation no. 593/2008 (Rome 1) will decide the question of the law of which state the court will use to decide.

Ask Randy Blythe of Lamb of God. He faced murder charge in Prague.

This is the funniest thing I’ve ever heard.

It’s also quite frightening that people this idiotic are allowed to use public forums to rant and possibly sway other stupid people into a similar way of thinking.

No way on earth has this game broken your monitor, it just isn’t possible and to seek legal council is so laughable. If you continue to pursue this, you will not only be a laughing stock on here but in a court room too. I’m pretty sure you will get some legal team to take on your case and bleed you for every penny for no outcome, but if you have money to waste on a ridiculous crusade, then that’s your choice.

But seriously, don’t expect anyone to give you any form of agreement on here. War horse are not responsible for you having shoddy hardware lol
