We need to be able to save

I appreciate that it makes me look for another way to complete a quest. The ability to fail adds a real level of adrenaline to combat and other aspects of quests that make me value them more.

I just want the saves to stop corrupting and costing me an entire playline

Unless… The “a” button is glitched and you can’t use anything or talk to anyone. I suggest loading a previous save

has anyone been playing survival mode in fallout 4? i lost hours and hours of gameplay because of my own stupidity, because there’s just one way to save and that’s sleeping in a bed - no autosave and no kind of saviour schnaps - and also no fast travel. sure it was frustrating at times but you grow a certain kind of awareness, that around every corner something might jump and kill you. you die a lot but evertime you die you learn from it and at some point you start to plan your actions more wisely - you level up and find a way to die less. it’s a completely different experience of gaming.

and here you have autosave and the possibility to save basically whenever you want, it’s your decision. and warhorse made it clear pretty much from the beginning where they were heading - so i dont get what all the fuss is about. i was just experiencing a bug that prevented me from saving while sleeping in the bed of a tavern, this might be something to look into. but apart from that, i’m fine with how saving works.

Understandable, they’ll fix it we just gotta wait. Personally the worst thing I’ve experience is lost about an hour when the mission I’m on led to a battle that upon completion resulted in my guys standing around with battle audio continuing to go and nothing would happen. Eventually I got bored and killed all the killable guys on my team and the quest completed but I failed. When I restart there is an option for dialogue that leads into the mission that I am currently on and it just loops like that. So I reset back to before that mission and am trying it again to see what happens. Other then that nothing crazy, and this is a side quest so not necessary anyway; just a questline I’m trying to exhaust.

Another crash on the ps4 - back we go yet again.
The irony of this site - saving the text I’ve just typed so I don’t lose it. lol

I get that some people may be absolutely fine with how the saves work. But would having the standard ability to save wreck the game? Given that the game does randomly crash on the ps-4 at the moment it makes it even more of an annoyance for me.

How often does it crash? Just curious. I was thinking mine doesn’t crash, but thats not true, it just crashes so infrequently i don’t even think about it. Like once every 5 hours of play maybe
