What is the first thing you will do?

First thing I would do would probably be running around the towns, trying to nick everyones coin purses.
Then go check out that crafting system and see if I can get myself some good gear.

1.) I will try jumping
2.) I will try water (If I can go to river, if I can swim, how water behavesā€¦)

Shoot a chicken with an arrow and see if the entire town will attack me for it.

trying to kill everyoneā€¦ and die very soon.

I will nick a few coin purses. Find the nearest tavern and get drunk.

For me it depends on the urgency of the story line. If your first steps in the game involve you taking some immediate action, Iā€™ll respond to that first. If the game offers you a little time to accomplish your first task, Iā€™ll normally take a walk around the area, poking and prodding, seeing what does what!

Climb to the top of the tallest building/castle and soak up the view.

Iā€™ll probably just wander around and watch, just soak in the game. Listen to the sound, observe the AIā€™s behaviour, you know, get a real good sniff of the atmosphere.

I will be taking part in the Alpha, so first thing I will do is test the combat system, try to see where I can get an advantage later on. I might look for the AI and how I can obtain quest information or items if the original supplier of the quest has died. I want to see how the mini games work in various professions, and how a malformed piece of steel fares against a perfectly balanced blade.

I think the guys @ Warhorse will make everything to make the game as realistic as possible.
Hope the cooking will be good

admire the view ;)ā€¦

Get on my bike and rideā€¦ Then admire the fat bottomed girls.

I think, youā€™re expecting too much.
You donā€™t get the full game right away.

Then, if I cannot test what I want to try, I will make the best out of it! Which will, as your description says, picking and dropping items, and following or potentially stalking a few NPCā€™s. Iā€™m curious if there will be a guard switch?

The builds they showed however did suggest that there will be basic combat and the mini game of sharpening your blade? I suppose I could live with that, for now

Do a shit right in the middle of the street infact infront of a guard thats what I would do  hehehehe

Do you mean change of guards?

And what guard do you refer to?
This guy?

Thatā€™s from the demo build, thatā€™s not what weā€™ll get.

The village of the Alpha is shown in the second part of the video.
Maybe you can start a fight with this guy?

I donā€™t know but possible, I think.

Thereā€™s a king, and so there will be guards, and guards are npc and npc have routines, so I thought it would be logical for a change of guards to occur. I was wondering if something like this will be in the final game.

And that guy isnā€™t the challenge Iā€™m looking for, but it will do if I donā€™t have anybody else I can beat xD

*SIGHā€¦ although I can think of a ton of things I want to ā€œtestā€ in the full game, I know myself too well. On the Alpha, the first thing I will probably test is the gameā€™s options. Brightness, sensitivity, button mapping, graphics settings, etc.

Damn, Iā€™m boring :frowning:

Lol, so you wonā€™t spend too much time contemplating what directory to install the game into then?

Perhaps consider installing the game on a SSD instead of my HDD, kind of depends on the performance of the game.

And yes, I know the alpha will probably not be optimized.
