Why first person games don´t have inertia in player movement?

Star Citizen and KCD supposed to share tech. AFAIK WH will give character customizaton and layered clothing techs and both will share some CryEngine experience and AI ideas but what CIG will give isn’t decided yet. Star Citizen’s character movements are place holder right now but it will have inertia for characters when its FPS module Star Marine released. Maybe WH will demand it if they like what CIG did.

I think a little inertia would increase the immersion. If you run as fast as you can and stop with a 180 degree turn in a tenth second it would break the immersion. Little bit realism is better in that case because it would be more intuitive, and not so difficult in control. The combat could be also more immersive. You also need inertia because the diffrent armors and weights. Please add inertia… at least a little.
