Will in KC:D burning of witches happen/proceed?

True. But isn’t the game set in Bohemia???

That is an interesting question actually, I mean, what or who is actualy a witch? With very different statuses at the people, the law and the church, we know about strigas, maleficuses, sortileguses and so on long before that, and more or less their attributes match with the witches’. Some of them did burn just as fine as any witch, despite the best efforts of the church. Up until this point, I don’t see a harsh border.

Oh, sorry, I thought you continued the debate that began with the Jeseníky Witch Processes. My bad.

Considering those are the most (perhaps only?) well known (Kaplicky + Vavra are the culprits here) witch processes in the history of the Lands of the Bohemian Crown (to be exact enough) I suppose I get your point.

the burning of witches and heretics would be even more realistic, but not just walk into a village or town and see a public burning or beheading, but to walk into a town hall building and see a trial going on, or at least hear rumours or people whispering about a certain people that they are heretics and then eventually see that person being pulled through the town to the stakes and burned… just me ranting…

That wouldn’t be THAT realistic given the time and location tbh (see above for more details)…

But hey, there is (some) artistic freedom after all so why not…

Just thought I’d leave this here. Most realistic depiction of medieval trial procedure I’ve seen to date.

At least the most funny one…

What do we burn apart from witches!?

How about…villages maybe?

… or the potion you are brewing!

Laaaaame! how ´bout the kitchen you are cooking in because you forgot your meal?

Of course the correct answer is… MORE WITCHES!!

So, logically…
