The same they had done with Witcher 1
And the funny thing on it, no one had said anything and it got awards.
I don’t understand all this, pointing with his finger on it.
And every one of my friends will also have the game too.
They never saw anything of 3 from 2013/2014, but played 1 or 2.
But now after patch 1.03 my game runs perfectly… no more freezes etc.
Only Novigrad has low fps (max 28)
Prove it. You’re a fanatical CD project red fanboy face it.
I like The Witcher… i like Medieval. If you can’t realize that, i’m not really sorry
I don’t like the downgrade but i can’t change it.
You can’t understand that, right?
And you’re a FanBoy too…
so much that you can’t shut up against every other member opinions here XD
Every one who is not your doctrine is a FanBoy.
I like Wiedźmin ]I[ Dziki Gon
CDPR 4ever, greetings from UbiCrap
All i can understand is you rambling on about how the Witcher devs did nothing wrong then you go to say you don’t like the downgrade? Make up your mind or stop posting in this topic, Thanks.
You’re actually the only one disagreeing with me at this point. Also what exactly am i a fan boy of?
Yep patch fixed it.
I could play whole hour and half without problems. Except I played the bochling quest several times because I decided to play on the hardest difficulty.
I have to admit that the fighting system is great, kinda real wibe to it.
Also I am now able to play on high settings with good fps.
Graphic is the smallest problem for me with this game… I dont like the controls, I dont like the combat att all, I dont like the NPC(if you block the road, they just keep walking into to you and say ‘‘hey watch where you are going’’ ‘‘dont tuch me’’ etc etc, you can steal everything from there house and they don’t give a f***) One tree I got stockd inn and then the next tree I could just walk through. But the main point, as I wrote earlyer really dont like combat system.
So for me this game is just graphic, characters are pretty good and the story seems good(can’t say to much since didnt bother to play to much of it since don’t like the game…) And hate the controlls, feels so much like they are built for console and not PC
yep this game suffers from console treatment.
Still I am amazed by how diverse the outcome of quests can be depending on your decisions.
And even though the combat system is console based I like it. I play at hardes difficulty and the fights require skill, otherwise you will die even to the small fries.
In most games I do not like doing side quests because it is monotonous work, but here I enjoy even those little errands.
I haven’t played it but that was what came to my mind immediately when I watched some youtube videos. The combat is on the level I remember it being back in 2003 when I last played similar games. I am a bit afraid that after watching the promised combat in KCD no other will be good enough.
Unless Warhorse sets a standard in combat systems and there will be more games with similar system.
Though I higly doubt that. Still Warhorse could share the system (sell it) similar to the case of Star Citizen and layering system fo clothing etc.
Who knows.
kk and yes i will never talk about it or to you again.
Now, You have your first best friend!
it ends wth "take a look at this:"
What is “this”?
not a clue …
What a surprise the PC users are shafted so the fucking shit consoles can run it.
The saddest thing is it really doesn’t even look that great on the consoles.
I spent a few hours on Xbone playing. I felt like I was in a story book, not because of the color scheme (which I thought was nice fit for the fantasy world) but because of the shadows.
The fore ground compared to background shadows (plus the pastel like colors) made me feel like I was playing Paper Mario.
I can understand why they did it, even the lying.
Still I am mad at the console infested game industry, because for me it is not about being able to play it with mindblowing graphics but about obstruction of progress. If not for weak performance of consoles the games could be much better.
Until the consoles catch up the the PC we will always play in past.
On the other note, I just spent quite a time fighting from a horse. I must say that it was pain in the ass because the horse kept stucking at places he should not.
And also stopping the horse and turning it around seems a feat worthy of songs and poems.
having played the game and visited many locations in different lighting, atmosphere and weather conditions, i think maybe the problem people have is seeing one screenshot, and then seeing another screenshot that’s different.
i mean i looked at some of the screenshots people claimed were downgraded in the game, and i try to do the same lighting conditions, sharpening turned up, and it basically looks the same. they have a sharpening option in the game which they used for the early screenshots that makes it look all ugly and hurts your eyes, but people say that is makes the game look better, so clearly, it’s all really subjective.
the only difference i saw, was some buildings have lower geometry, but geometry of some terrains involve tessellation, which is procedural. the textures look absolutely the same, and the models look the same. so people seem to have a problem with grass(it is using different models and textures in final version) and lighting. in some conditions, the lighting makes things look flat. i think it’s because they just use global illumination for everything and so dark areas in shadows, etc just look flat without any emitters.
Yeah, this review really sum up everything I think of the combat system. Since im to lazy to explain everything and show myself…
It kind of remind of assassins creed(a game I hate…) You just do the same thing over and over again no matter what difficulty

- It is funny how console fighting system is better when playing on PC
