Alpha Performance Thread

I think we should share some performance information that could lead people to choose a graphics card or CPU of their choice. If we can say our computer specs, game settings and resolution with the FPS we are getting, we could make a nice performance thread.

What do you think?

I start with an average PC:

Phenom II X6 1090T @ 3.8Ghz
R9 280 3Gb 1085/1350
8Gb DDR3

Game settings: 1080p Very High

Running fine here on High graphics

Win8.1 x64 i7 Gigabyte mobo and 780

Runs great for me. GTX Titan, Very High, 1920x1080. Didn’t know how to check the actual rate, but it’s definitely quite high. Never noticed any slowdown ever.

I’m sure more granular settings will come in time. I’d especially love to be able to turn up shadow rendering distance.

I love the graphical style and quality a lot. I just wanted to follow that stream and keep on walking.

Running it on medium at around 40-50 on my old 650ti however it crashes every few minutes

24-30 FPS with
Fullscreen, 1680x1050, High Settings
NVIDIA Center forced Vsync on
NVIDIA Center forced AA, SMAA, AAA off

System
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
M5A97-Pro
AMD FX-6200
8GB DDR3-1333
GTX760 2GB DDR5-RAM
Realtek HD Audio 6.0.1.6251
333.88-win8-win7-vista-64bit-whql

Thank you very much Warhorse Studios
The Tech Alpha has met all my expectations.
You made my century, definitely <3

Runs great for me too. 1440p resolution and very high settings. GTX 970. Average fps is 35 but it runs smoothly thanks to g-sync I suppose

running fine on very high even.

specs: GTX 660ti AMD quad core fx4130 8gb RAM, plus a little trick that i use to get the same effect of RAM with a USB, so really there is 16gb ram.

This Alpha has AA and Vsync on its own, checked it in the console.

Win 7 64bit
i5 4670k no OC
8 GB Ram
ATI R9 280X

1080p
High Setting
45-60 FPS

Can you test Very High?

i5 3570k
64 bit win 7
geforce gtx660 2gb ram
8gb system ram

high, stable 45-60fps(i forced on vsync in nvvidia panel)

very high 30-40fps with slight stuttering when turning. i think it’s motion blur effect

Runs great 40-60 FPS @2560x1440, Very High settings. My system:

Intel i7 4930k @4,4Ghz
32GB RAM 1600Mhz
Gigabyte GTX 980 G1 GAMING, Driver 344.48
Windows 8.1 Pro
ROG Swift G-Sync Monitor

It’s sitting exactly at the sweet spot for G-Sync and looks just beautiful. Great work so far!

Running rock steady (apart from my first attempt at playing) at 40-50fps with 2560x1440p and very high settings.

Windows 7 64-bit
i5 2500k @ 4.6
EVGA GTX Titan SC @ 876/928
8GB DDR3 Corsair Dominator @1600
250GB Samsung 840 SSD

Running on high with Fraps: 60 FPS
win7
i7-4700@2.40ghz
16GB RAM
Radeon R9 M290x

Gonna try double running on very high on my tower once I’m done testing the game on this notebook.

Specs:
i5-4670K 3.4GHz
EVGA GTX 780 3GB VRAM
Nvidia 344.11
16GB RAM
Win 8.1

Settings:
1080p and Very High

Above 50fps all the time, above 60 most of the time (except when I look at the village).

Specs:
FX-8150 4.2 GHz
Gigabyte ga-970a-ud3
8GB 1866Mhz RAM
ATI Radeon HD7870 2GB
Windows 8.1

Settings:
1920x1080
Very High

Performance:
FPS are between 40-50. It is depending on what I do and where I am.
Inside houses or in the forest, FPS are stable at ~50.
When moving outside and taking quick turns, FPS drop at around ~40.

All in all I’m quite impressed. I only have a 170$ graphics card, but so far the game runs like a charm with decent FPS and no major issues (regarding the performance).

There are a few graphical glitches, for example in the inventory the character model sometimes has invisible arms or legs.

Motherboard => msi z87-g45
CPU => i5 3570K OC (4.2 Ghz)
GPU => Gigabyte GTX780 OC
RAM => 8GB

Settings:
1920x1080
Very High

Performance:
Framerate constatly at 100 fps or more !
Very stable. I had only one crash at the first launch after i spawned and looked down to the village.

Specs:
Cpu: AMD FX8320
Gpu: R9 270X Zotan Toxic 2 gb ddr5
Ram: 8 gb corsair vengeance ddr3
OS: Windows 8.1

Settings:
1920x1080
Very High

Frame rate: minimum 35, max 48-50. Stable on 40. No crash :sunny:

People with similar specs are not getting anywhere near that performance at “Very High”.
Have you made any driver tweaks and turned V-Sync off in the console to get that boost?

Does somebody have a list of console commands?
