1.2.5 MAJOR bug on ps4 that will stop your game play

Hello again guys,
The new 1.2.5 patch on ps4 has a major bug that will stop you from being able to play the game.

At the very start of the game when you have to go do this for your father there is a sword lesson quest. When you try to activate this quest it will not activate… leaving you stuck and unable to play the game any further. This is like 1% into the game and its a major issue… It worked fine before the 1.2.5 patch…

Is anyone else who just started the game playing on ps4 having the same issue???

Hope this is fixed fast because I really do enjoy playing this game.

Have you tried deleting that save and starting again? I started a new playthrough with the new patch and made it through no issues. I just tested it 3 more times before posting this and made it through each time. Can you give more details? Like did you collect anything for you’re fathers quest before hand in what order you collected them. Etc…

yes, i have deleted all save points, I have tried deleting the sames on my ps4 and my psn accounts. I have even deleted the full game and re downloaded it… It still does the same thing no matter what I try :frowning:

Ive collected all items first, then last Ive gone to the sword lesson… sometimes he even attacks me and kills me…

Perhaps try doing him right away? That is what I just did it worked. Gonna go try and do one where I collect all the stuff first and I’ll check back in if I get the bug

When WARHORSE releasing a new patch, it means they releasing a new bugs too!

UPDATE at the start when i speak to my mother i picked different perks, this time I picked “speech” first then " strength" , then i went to talk to my father, then I went direct to the sword lesson and it worked!!! Keep in mind this is a totally fresh downloaded game with no saves. I even went into my saved game data in my ps4 and deleted the save game data there and i deleted all the save game data on my psn account.

Yes I think ithad to do with totally deleting all game saves in the game, and then doing the same in my ps4 saved games and on my psn account saved games. Those are under settings, then application saved data management.
