Merhojed is broken for me. Any cutscene involving straw crashes my game. I can’t even do some of the side quests as they crash the game as well. Until 1.4 I had never experienced a crash. There were bugged quests - i never got to finish the Fritz/Mattheiu story line and the Rattay brawler side activity never worked but now the game has essentially been rendered unplayable for me. I had over 260 hours in game without any major issues but every patch after 1.3 has introduced an increasing number of problems. I love this game but the problems are getting worse, not better.

Everyone is having the Merhojed issues sadly. They have said they are aware of it, and are working on another patch to fix everything, but no word on when yet.
I love this game too, and I know how you feel. All we can do is wait and hope they get it all sorted. This being their first game, I kinda expected a ton of patches in the first few months, but never expected one to completely stop me being able to play lol.
Oh and starting a new playline while waiting isn’t working for most people either. The prologue is buggy now too. I couldn’t even get Kunesh to show up. Guess he went on vacation while they fix the game lol.
The test machine updated this morning, so it looks like they’re trying out a new update. Fingers crossed that testing goes well (and is thorough!), and we get a new, bug-free patch soon.
