A Bird In The Hand quest cannot be completed

I just spent over 20 minutes trying to find the acceptable spot on the ground for the last cage, which in this case is the south most of the three. I have headphones on and I can clearly hear the positional audio and I am placing it just like I did the previous two, right where the sound effect appears to be generated from.

I even tried pushing the cage around on the ground. I swear I’ve tried every inch of ground within 10 meters of the sound with nothing to show other than a lot of frustration.

In addition to increasing the acceptable radius for the cages, could you please show me perhaps with a screenshot where I am supposed to put it?

It gets worse. After you get all 3 birds in the cages, you CAN’T turn in the quest to the huntsman in Rattay. Every single time it will freeze the game in the middle of dialogue. You have to close the game’s process and restart the game. This quest is really a buggy mess. :frowning:

You can try and do it like this, that worked for me and several other people.

Hi folks, I am on PS4 Pro, and this quest doesn’t complete for me. No issues with getting the birds, but when I talk to the huntmaster in Rattay, I get the rewrds, and the dialogue gets stuck after that. Henry just stands there fidgeting, and nothing happens. I had to load a save to play.

Apparently I made the mistake of sleeping at the miller’s before returning them birds. I read someplace you shouldn’t do this as it screws up the mission. Didn’t know that, and it was night when I returned to Rattay, so…

I just left the mission incomplete, as I have moved on since, maybe it will be fixed later, so I can complete it?

Yeah, i cant turn this quest in and i am not going to do it over since i have done a lot of other things before i tried to turn this in. I may just shelf this game for a while until things smooth out :frowning:

Same issue since long time i can’t finish this fucking quest and im too far in story to rollback. Please do a restart quest feature…

Its much important than easter eggs…

I had the same bug, had 3 cages with 6 weight in my inventory for a long time but completed it when the 1.3 patch came out.
It’s bugged again?

For me i have a cage under the map or a ghost cage . i have always a marker for get a cage but at place no cage appear… so i m fucked
