"A bird in the hand" still bugged after patch

Title says it all. It’s a major quest breaking bug that many people have experienced. Can we at least get a cheat to spawn a new empty/full bird cage for now, until a fix is released?

Come on buddy actually it is fixed you just have to restart the game and play it over again and when you drop the cages you don’t leave the area because yeah they disappear and it says it’s there but it’s not you’re supposed to I guess drop all three cages and I hate to f*** it up for you but I’ll go ahead and spoil it don’t drop them all in one location you need to go across with it if you just head in a linear path you’ll run into all three birds but hey at least you’re not a pathetic piece of s*** like me and literally have replayed the game 7 * 2 mid game just to experience the stutter bug and this last time I’m pretty pissed because I didn’t drop a goddamn thing on the ground and I still got stutter issues and I reached a point where no matter what mission I did what side quest does it matter that the minute I took on another side quest another mission or even tacked the Bandit pribyslavitz

I wouldn’t be so posses but its got to be,something stupid simple they re overlooking

Plays wonderfully at beginning like,can speed through rattay on,horse and no,fps or stutter. Gradually gets worse. Some,missions more than others like dancing,with the,devil

I don’t really understand your comment. Clearly the quest isn’t fixed if it requires a game restart. Anyway, I found a way for us to cheat around their lack of ability to fix this quest.

Update - Here is a way to work around the quest using cheats.

  1. Download this mod following all instructions carefully https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/106?tab=description
  2. Use the add item cheat to spawn the bird cage, this is the ID: 12c04d37-2cac-454a-917f-4cf0964758fe
  3. You can now complete the quest. Remember not to save the game before you finish all aspects of the quest INCLUDING talking to the hunter to return the cages.
  4. Profit.
