he definitely tells us that there are some armors that you need to customise to wear
so at best the tutorial can’t give you plate…
he just says a bunch so watch the vid

Lots of amour was of the munition quality… that is massproduced en specific sizes…
Using a breastplate that is a bit to large is in no way a problem. the same with some types of arm and leg armour.
But high quality armour was made to fit the person.
certain parts of armor could be used interchangeably but stuff like greaves and corresponding parts can not be used properly by other people
thaats where cuir bouille or whatever and splinted armor is used as a replaecment

It again depend on quality. In the case Greaves it really depend on if we are talking some that only cover the front of the leg or also the back.
