A couple things I didn't like in the stream

So I saw the stream and for the most part loved it. I understand that it is a really early build, and looks surprisingly good for an early alpha. There are just two things I didn’t like, and would like to hear what you think about them as well.

  1. When you had to go meet up with the counts soldiers so you could go with them to ride to the stables, they were just sitting there waiting for you. I don’t know about you, but I’m a pretty impatient guy. I would probably be walking around, just doing random things in the general area while waiting for someone. Hopefully that will get fixed.

  2. The combat seems a little bit boring. I dunno, maybe it’s just me, but the combat in the game just looks a little bit off. Maybe it was just because I was watching and not playing, but it seems kinda funky to me.

Well that’s all I got.

I’ll wager the dynamic AI they’ve showcased wasn’t implemented fully when this build was shown. In more advanced builds it might be they’ll play dice, or sparring, or making crude jokes

The combat seemed boring, but that’s because it was nerfed to show combat more comprehensively, instead of it being a quick endeavor and then it’s over. In an actual (in-game) battle it would be much more dangerous, a few stabs and you’d be down and out, likewise to the other fighter.

depending on whether they will be spawned near the horses when the dialog is triggered, i think they’ll probably still be restricted to be near the horses. so sitting down and playing dice, eating, or something would be a good idea.

Not worried about it. You could say the same of the woman sweeping the same spot at the beginning, but this is a demo build and an old one at that. There’s more than enough time for them to put in what they want to do by the time the final version is ready.

Same with the combat. It’s a demonstration, done as it was specifically to show the variety of attacks that can be made. It will not be exactly like that by the time we’re playing for real.

Well they said that if you need to deliver something to someone, and you arrive at night, they’ll probably be pretty pissed, because you woke them up at 2 o’ clock, or they’ll be doing something. So no, i don’t think that will be a problem.

And with the combat, they also said that that enemy was really extreme hard, and it wouldn’t be like that in the final game.
