Dear Kingdome Come players,
I have been playing Kingdome Come Deliverence for a while now and just like most players I have encountered many bugs. Right now I think I am nearing the end of the game, and because the game told me so, I am trying to finish all open quest. My last real open side quest is the “A Rock and a Hard Place” quest.
I know there are a couple of ways to finish this quest. My choice finishing this quest is the one where I go to the quarry and steal the money they are bringing there. Yes I know that you can steal the coins in the Tower @ Talmberg etc but if you choose that option you get a couple of failed quest items which I hate.
So to complete the “A Rock and a Hard Place” quest I did all the things suggested by Henry’s friends. I talked to Robard, got some information and persuaded him to send less men. I talked to the Stable groom/master and made the horses sick, I even managed to cause a stirr and lessen the guards by killing one / two guards (which I hated doing because they are innocent).
The quest has advanced as far as the objective " Wait until the money comes to the quarry".
But no matter what I do, no matter how many days go by (I have done multiple main and side quests) the Guards do not show up at the quarry. If I go to Fritz or Matthew and choose the “Il wait with you” option then the time weel comes up and just keeps on turning and turning for days and days and still nothing happens.
Also… when I go to / near Talmberg castle I can see a squad of guards on the road that go towards the quarry but they just stand there… doing nothing. See following screenshots:
I tried talking to them but nothing happens then, I tried killing one or two guards to see if that would do something but the only thing that happens then is that they try to find and arrest / kill me but when they calm down everything stops there.
Sooooo as you guessed it this part of my quest is bugged. I cant finish it and when I continue with the main quest “payback” etc then eventually the “A Rock and a Hard Place” quest fails.
My question to Support and to all of you Kingdome Come players is if there is a way to get the Guards moving again?? Or if there is an other way to get this quest going again or to Finish it?? (and wyi, no I can not get the money from the Talmberg Tower because the money is gone there)
