Act's 1 through 3 pledging and, looking forward, purchasing info

First off howdy, I’ve recently pledged after hearing about the game on the Star Citizen forums. On to my question, and forgive me if it’s buried somewhere, will Kingdom Come Deliverance be treated as one game in terms of purchase or three? I notice there are acts one through three. My package, the Viscount, get’s act one. I’m assuming this means I’ll have to purchase the other two acts? Any word on how much that will cost? Will the game release for 60 USD (standard AAA price) upon full release? If this is the case will I be able to purchase the other 2 acts for say 40 USD since I already have act 1? Will there be some sort of backer discount? Will each act have it’s own alpha and beta? Does this mean I only get access to act one alpha and beta?

Any clarification would be great!

They cant guarantee acts 2 & 3 will be made yet as they have to see if their investor likes how act 1 turned out but they haven’t announced any information about it but id assume that itd be the same price

Oh and I looked more into it, and well I feel silly. The answer was hidden in plain sight lol. Backers ( Collectors Edition) will be getting 1-3 if the second and third are released without further purchase being necessary. So as far as purchase goes it will be considered the “same game.”

Well I hope at least my bit of foolishness can serve new comers looking for the same info!

It’s further specified in the descriptions of individual pledges. The lower pledges will get you only the Act 1, some higher pledges have the intended future Acts 2 and 3 included too, depending on the amount of money in the pledge and the set of goods attached to it.

Otherwise, all three Acts would probably be offered for sale individually or in complete packages in the future (after their release), if everything goes right.

If you consider the pledge price for the basic digital edition is about $25 USD, and the basic physical edition is about $35 (the Soldier tiers), I would not expect each act to be a typical $60. Perhaps $30-40 digital, $40-50 physical by the time it’s out to the public. Then again, maybe it will end up the norm and those of us who got in early get a sweeter deal on that side of it.

First alpha will be released soon. The actual plan is about 30th September 2014 (+/- 10 days).

Speaking of which, remember to grab your bug spray and Report any strange and definitely hard to spot game breaking or visual glitches, such as, Floating Homo-erotic walruses, ominously exploding chickens, and or Transgender bar wenches with the facial appearance of a goat. This will not only make you feel as if your the ghost busters of the bug reporting world, but will also help those who play when it launches for the game wont combust into a fiery ball of errors. :stuck_out_tongue:
