When I use a alchemy bench I glitch out in the sky, when I quit I fall down and die.

Lol I ran into the same bug. It’s the bench in the herbalist’s hut in the NE portion of the main map. Every time I use it I’d slowly rise into the sky. On the plus side you can get a great aerial view of the world, on the minus side if you wait too long to escape out of the bench you’ll fall to your death.
