Alpha 0,4 Thistle disappearing

Hi all.

I wanted to play and try the new quest…
I started a new game… first time knowing i need it i just harvest all the thistle i find.
Get the Jerry quest and go to see the old lady in the wood.
When i started to make potion… all my thistle disappeared!

I start a new game… i get the quest first… go see the old lady and get thistle, coal, …
Then a go back to the wood to craft the potion…
!!! All my thinstle disapeared again! Its very annoying.

Is the Jerry potion quest broken or something?

Any help will be welcomed :slight_smile:

Hi Tabarnator,
Firstly I jsut like to point out that Jerry quest is not a new quest :smiley: it is there from update 0.3.

but to the matter
it is strange, never happend to me.

Could you go into more detail?

  • How do you learn that it dissapered?
  • Exactly at what time the thistle dissapears from your inventory?
  • Is thistle everything that dissappears?

Ideally a video or some screens before/after would be helpful.

What you are describing is really hard to believe, I have never heard about something dissappearing from inventory.

Hi ProkyBrambora.

I know its not a new quest i done it before. I just wanted to do it all over again including old and new quest.
So when i press E to enter the crafting potion bench… i hit E again to open the recipe book and press Y
to view how to do the potion… its said: add water and 2 thistle… then i realize i dont have thistle on me any more. Only thisle is missing. Tomorow i try to uninstall the game and try it again.
Maybe i just forgot something improtant to do on the potion bench.
I come back here after next try.

What I am interested is HOW you realize that you dont have thistle anymore.

Nothing on the shelf… no more thisle in my inventory.
I will give it an other try later today. I let you know if i succed or not.

I strated all over again… this time it work fine.
Im just not sure what was the problem… maybe me not doing the right thing.

Any way im happy, i can do alchemy again :smile:

And i have suggestion… i would like to see when some part of quest are solved.
Maybe it will come in other alpha.

You can see it in your questlog in the inventory - usually when part of the quest is done - the objective changes. (so you can see - for example - how many thistles you have picked up and so on). If this is the thing you mean. :wink:
