If crouch doesn’t work I’m afraid you will have to start new game. Also capturing the screenshot of the location is extremely helpful :wink: (e.g. location on the map, if it’s not obvious from the ingame screenshot)and describe if you did anything special so we can double check it and eliminate the possibility of players getting stuck in the future.

At the moment we can’t tell as the game is not fully optimized and better the rig doesn’t necessarily equal to better performance. And unfortunately there is no command in the Alpha to disable the NPCs :’( .

So i went riding and I discovered that when you press X several times while in jump, Henry will be repeating dismounting animation equal to time you pressed X.

Everybody with an AMD GPU and the Crimson Radeon GPU driver who has the game crash at startup problem, please be so kind and use the following Link to submit an Issue Reporting Form to AMD. I did this 11 days ago, but the more the better. As “problem numbers” raise so is the priority raising at AMD to solve this issue. Thank you very much for your help in advance.

Is there a way to reset a NPC because the herb woman dissapeared. i have seen some other complaining that after you made the poison for the farmer quest that she will walk away and keeps walking and will never come back. This happened to me to and now i need her for the lost keys quest, because i guess i need to talk to her. so is there anyway to reset her so i can talk to her?

Unfortunately the only resolution is to start a new game.(if it is indeed broken or bugged)

Some quests have conflicts especially the ones that involve the Herbalist it is best to avoid talking to her when aiding farmer Jerry.

You can use the alchemy table without her assistance, simple read from the book and use auto cook or follow the recipe.

Lol maybe Jerry is missing because poison kills people :grin:.

Its is also very important to note that this game is not like other game NPC’s do not have a small cyclical routine they will not be hanging around the same spot all day for you.

Often times when you cannot find someone, they will be hanging around the pub in samopesh.

argh again a new game… realy cant wait till the ‘‘save anywhere option’’ will enter the game. i just keep doing this over and over because of certain bugs… i thought there was perhaps a command you could type to make NPC reset or put them on a certain place. thnxs for the repley anyway

If such a command exists it has not been revealed.

Unfortunately its growing pains, Alpha can be a real bitch sometimes.

I share the sentiment, the AI has made making a proper saving system difficult for the Dev team.

SOLUTION

yeah i know, i give the devs a lot of respect and thumbs up for the devolpment but still we can get annoyed sometimes, but hey its an aplha what can we expect.

and for the other who are wondering to solve bugged or dissapeared npcs simply restart the game. the NPCs wil respawn at there main locaiton so make sure you are there, and then you can talk to them. the herb woman tend to always spawn directly next to me where ever i am. BUT be quick with talking to her because she will run away once she get the chance lol

I crashed when fight the soldiers at the military camp. I was defending the the innkeepers honour and beat the solider, after he dropped his sword and I picked it up essentially stealing it then the soldiers attacked me while I was talking to the guy. I fought them for a bit killing one while the others were still attacking then crashed when I tried to push through them caused I was backed up against a fence. was bloody fun will do agian :smile:

i find the fighting nearly immposible… wtf training at the camp on begginner level and cant even parry one atack or launch an succesfull atack…

Trying to launch the game but the file game.exe stops working and I have to exit. I am unable to enter en play the game, what I did without trouble in the past.

I am running the game on Windows 10 64bit and have an AMD Radeon R9 200 Series with the Crimson Radeon Software version 15.11.1

I’ve been getting the hang of it but did take me a bit. It is hard but must admit I like that even though I might curse half the time mostly at myself

Loaded 0.5 up, talked to the old hag in the woods, but trying to initiate dialogue with any other character would not work. The option to talk would present itself, but it would never commence even after hitting the key repeatedly.

Cowardly horseman
Where: Road between the camp and Kolben’s, I suppose it works anywhere.
What: When trying to collide with the horseman, while being on horse yourself, the guy tris to run away, later returning to any road he is close to.

After repeating: he still behaves the same

(is it bug though? Its not certainly appealing, he says nothing jsut runs)

Flying Horseman
Where: around Merhojed, I suppose it works anywhere.
What: When on horse you can knock down another horseman by jumping on him. The horseman then stands inactive. He does not react even to you attacking.

After repeating: I knocked him down on road and he started go to his destination, but ignored his horse. (guess he does not like riding)

Dont want no wierdoes here!
Where: In Merhojed, I suppose it works anywhere.
What: Henry cannot get into women’s clothes. Also when you steal the clothes they are named as “some piece of clothing” with no picture.

Walking the clock
Where: anywhere

What: Henry keeps unintentionaly walking in one direction. Can be interupted by going in inventory or by pressing “esc”

How to produce it:

  • Go one way (forwards, sidewards, backwards)
  • tap atleast twice (it has to be even nubmer) “T” key (activation of waiting).
  • Let go of the walking key.
  • Henry keeps walking without you holding any key

Here is a video (not really helpful though)

Well, if it is not a bug, then it should be possible later in developement.
