Did anyone remember the disaster wenn Gothic 3 was released, and they (Piranha Bytes) implemented the funktion so bad?
There should be SAVE for testing and bugfixing!

I think it was not the impemented function itself,
engine was very unstable, less memory optimization, etc.
But yeah to prevent problems like at Gothic 3 rls, we want to ask about crouch AND the save! 
A little off-topic,
but they (Piranha Bytes/JoWooD) released Gothic 3 pre-alpha.
The bug list is (much) longer than all postings in this forum together.
They run out of time and had no community for alpha testing 
Back to the saves. At release the size of the saves were huge. More than 1GB!!
In the year 2006 the size of main memory was 0,5-2 GB. With the first patches they integrated compression for the saves. There were tons of problems with corrupted and lost saves.
We need SAVE!
If there is no save, we are condemned to repeat all our mistakes…

How long do you plan to record WH-News/Video Updates?
I mean, you will stop them with BETA release?
There are no plans for stopping them some day! 
We always do them if there is something interesting to say. So right now there is no end in sight… and the next video update is scheduled for the next 4weeks +/-.

Today, after long time I’ve started Steam again and it downloaded a 23 mb update!
What are the changes or fixes?

Nice… if you wait more than 10 min in the main menu
you will get the viewing direction, which you have, if you press New Game.

i’ve recorded the Game splash from the Alpha with SnagIt
You can see it for some seconds/minutes if you start the game
(depending on the hardware)
It is 100% the original image, unchanged

New Desktop icon from third game splash
it ins’t high quality but i guess on 1920x1080 it looks still nice.
A little blurry or unsharpen but to 1680x1050 it looks okay
Im not pro in art with pc so i will show a preview on a black background…
tested on white background screen too and looks still okay!
(It is on highest resoultion with Big Symbols/Icons but i hope it fits for everyone)

Yeah, i had a weird bug where instead of staying on the map while fast travelling, it just moved me at lightning fast speed to the place I wanted to go. Kind of cool, and it shows that the game renders fast travel within the game instead of just teleporting you to various locations. But it was pretty strange.
