If you backed for a console version you will be able to download the alpha. But the alpha will be PC only
for all the other questions that keep coming up although they’ve been answered multiple times:
- the alpha will most likely come out on 22nd of october
- it will only be a small village and you wont be able to fight or ride a horse, it will get updated (probably every 2 months) dont expect a real game, there’s still much development ahead
- you can make youtube videos or stream if you clarify that its alpha footage and not the final game
- the alpha will be downloadable on steam, backers will get the code by mail
- the badge is the thing under your name
to all the ones that have similar questions next time please use the search function or just take a quick look into the forum there are so many threads about this at the moment.

Does anyone ever use the forum search? Or read any news? Or watch at least the first two minutes of the video updates?

At this point, please read some of the stuff over just the last couple days. Someone else asked about this no more than 12+ hours ago.
Generally I think it’s OK to cut new posters some slack. They’ve just discovered the game, they’ve scoured the website, and now they want to post a question or comment. I say the more excited newbies the better because that can only lead to more sales and more success for Warhorse (enough to get an Act 2 & 3).
mmm. ok sorry for bothering. It would have been good to have it also for gen 4; that’s it. So let’s wait for the code and let’s start the search for a pc…

We have a community manager and his name is @TobiTobsen and I for myself do just some of the moderation in my leisure time. We have some awesome people in the community here, that’s true.
Some of the guys are just annoyed by the same questions of new people. Maybe we should emphasize on the forum search a bit more for the newcomers.

a few threads down is an ongoing religious debate, they are sometimes funny and at least most of the time pointless.

I think people understand excited newbies coming in with questions, but it’s reasonable to expect them to look over a page or two of recent topics or check out some frequently asked questions first. That’s just doing a little research.
