Alpha Performance Thread

RAM DDR3 G.Skill 1866MHz 16GB
M.B Asrock X79 Extreme6 Intel X79
Gainward GeForce GTX 780
Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit

1920x1080
Very High

MSI GE620DX notebook, Core i7, 8GB RAM, NVidia GT 555M.
Unplayable even on 800x600 and Low Details.

Yes, my notebook is old and I’m targeting for console version, but Crysis 2 (CryEngine) is playable on my computer and on higher resolution. It would be nice to try the alpha version, but I can live without it.

However question for the developers. Do you plan some performance optimizations? I think the graphics are comparable to Crysis 2 but Kingdom Come runs much slower. Thanks

Framedrops:
nighttime with dynamic lights in sight: 2-8 fps
watching npc 0-5
fps are going down to 10-17 fps with open menu

For town and in House tests the shown road and house were used:

Quick-Specs:
i5-2500K 3.7GHz
GeForce GTX 570
1920x1080

No idea how they benchmarked the game but those minimum FPS numbers are VERY generous.

Why? Which card do you have? The benchmark seems to be pretty accurate for my own overclocked HD 7870 which is placed a bit above the 270X.

I agree. Quite accurate for my GPU.

Well, ive made some another test…
ive overclocked my graphics card via nvidia inspector and the numbers are little bit better now, but not the best
For exaple:

High settings on 1920x1080 average: 19 fps
Low settings on 1600x900 average: 28 fps
Low settings on 1366x768 average: 40 fps

I think that the problem is the graphics card, but i will wait untill next KC:D aplha updates

4930k @ 4.4GHz and an AMD R9 295x2.

A R9 290x will NOT get a MINIMUM fps of 60 at Very High settings.
The average is pretty close (unless you do some fast camera movements (causing motion blur) or spent a lot of time in the forest.

My benchmark run intentionally had sharp fast 90 degree turns and 1 hairpin turn for that very reason (and lasted 2 mins to get a fair average).

t.b.h, if I benchmarked over a full play session (say the 10 mins or so it takes to do all the alpha quests) the average would be even higher than the results in my video.

Something from the low-end area - APU Kaveri A10-7850k with 8GB of memory in FullHD is giving out barely 5-10 FPS.

(waiting for a Linux version to test on my i7 4790K beast though)

My Rig:
2xSli gtx 660ti 2gb vram
i7-4770k 4.7 ghz
16 gb 2133mhz ram

The game is running at 45 at high and only 30 at very high.
My rig is usually very powerfull but in KC and Crysis 3 it struggles
The casuse are the 2 gb vram to few for the cry engine 3 other engiens like frostbite etc. are running super smooth above the 90fps … i think i will update to an gtx 980

Specs

Intel Xeon X5650 @ 4.0Ghz
Asus Rampage III Formula
EVGA GTX 760 SC 2GB
HyperX 12GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 Mhz
Windows 8.1 Pro x64

With everything maxed I get 30-45 fps.

This Alpha uses like 1900MB of VRAM.

Interesting.
I get a little higher framerate in High vs Very High.
When I set to Medium the framerate stays the same.

I’m play at 1080p also.

Xeon E3-1230v3
GTX 970 OC (my new toy  )
8GB RAM
Windows 8.1

I have almost constant 60 FPS at max settings (very high, 1080p)

When I raise the various view distances and the LOD ratio to 999 (base value 500) via console the framerate goes down to 45-60 FPS depending on how much vegetation must be rendered.

System RAM usage: ~5800MB
GPU RAM usage: ~2150MB
GPU is about 70-90% load at maximum boost (OC at 1500Mhz)

Hi

just had my 2nd ctd with CryEngine Error “DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET”

1st time: near starting point, after changing the graphics specs to very high.

2nd time: after talking to the 1st farmer when walking down the road. Both times happened while turning.

i7-860 @ 3,2ghz
8Gb Ram
Crucial SSD
GTX 680 Phantom

Despite of the crashes, the overall performance is quite nice
For an alpha release it’s really good.

Intel i7-2600K @ 3.4Ghz

Running fine, had a few crashes on load after changing to very high last night. Resolved itself after a reboot though.

The only problem is my game crashes when turning quickly running it on Very High settings don’t know why. runs great on medium and high.

Running max settings at a comfortable 50fps. No stutter whatsoever.

I have the same issue Thorin.

Mind you you need to turn crazy fast to make this happen. Turning your mouse down to less than unreal tournament twitchiness settings will eliminate this issue for you altogether.
