Am I missing some of the story?

Hello,

I originally missed the Kickstarter for Kingdom Come and would have gladly backed the devs but better late than ever. Today after watching some YouTube videos I pledged directly on the KCD website.

After downloading\installing the beta and then watching the introduction then it seems very different than what I saw in prior YouTube videos. For example in someone else play thru Henry was rescued by a bar maid and in my play thru that did not occur but instead showed Henry on his horse and then talking with a trainer. Based on this am I missing the storyline?

I know there is supposed to be different parts but this has not been out of beta yet so would appreciate any insight.

The beta as it says after the intro when selecting your play style, is midway through the story line.

May happen later, but no, the Beta starts with you talking to Sir Robert.

Ok Thank you I just was wondering if I could go back to the beginning of the story but I guess all is good.

That was very old build wich developers presented to publishers (It was never released). The game has changed since then.

I don’t think the game has substantially changed, just for the purposes of the Beta the game starts in media res, while the full version will start at the beginning with the investigation at Neuhoff Stud and the subsequent discovery of the dead bandits of Reeky’s group.

Clearly indicated that this segment is mid-game content, when selecting your character style.

Even what they showed at Neuhoff was not the beginning though.
