AMD optimization question

Hello,
I got back to check the game after leaving it for whole summer. It still struggles to run acceptably for me so I wonder does anyone else have AMD card and have issues with it or is it something else and not GPU’s optimization fault?
I have:
i7-4790 3.60 GHz
AMD R9 390 8GB MSI card with GPU OC to 1060Mhz using MSI gaming app
16GB RAM
I get ~30FPS with stuttering from time to time. And on High settings it stutters a lot and struggles to keep above 20 FPS. Even when it is above 30 with low settings, game doesn’t feel smooth and somewhat iresponsive. Any other game I own runs highest settings without any problem, even witcher 3 without hairworks keeps constant 60FPS with everything on ultra.

Sorry for dumb question, but I really want this to work and at least try out combat mechanics. Yet now it is very sluggish even with 30 fps

This is kind of normal as the game is still in the process of optimization yet, and we don´t update the Beta anymore als we are keeping the focus on the final game right now to release it earlier.

That’s great to hear! I thought that I might have messed up my game somehow and that is why it preforms so poorly, but now that you’ve confirmed it is normal behavior, I’ll gladly wait longer for more polished product overall than optimized beta now.

The developer build is already better polished, you can see that by watching the Timeskip in the latest videos, it is way faster already than the published Beta, although the developer build does have more features and is already more complex.
But it is not easy to copy this optimization into the Beta, and this would be very time consuming, we want to use this time for the final game, as this is what really counts.

Couldn’t agree more. Best of luck with the game!

Your FPS are absolutely normal. i5 6600k, GTX 1060 6GB, 16 GB RAM and I get from 30 to 40 FPS with occasional stuttering, everything maxed out.
