An alternative way to get horse head armor

When it comes to acquiring the horse head armor everyone talks about that spot under the cliffs with the large nest. However yesterday i found another spot where the armor can be found and obtained without any falling or so. North- North-East of Rovna, but Sout-West from Pribyslavitz there is a boar hunting spot in the forest, it is easy to find, its on every online map you can find to the game. A few steps north from that hunting spot there is a ruin of a stone building which is considered as an interesting site. To enter the ruin there is a ladder there, so its easy to climb down. Once you are down, turn right and in the corner, behind some weeds there is a small cave with a wrapped corpse and a chest in it. The armor is in the chest along with a noble saddle with 4 bags and a noble bridle. It sounds pretty easy to get, right? Its easy to find but the chest is a very hard one, so don’t go there without the right lockpicking level. I don’t know if this place is a treasure map location or what (I have found it by chance).

Or build smithy in Pribyslavitz and buy it there.

What do you get for the armorsmith??

Since I can’t add any armorsmiths (wtf WH add another guy somewhere) I dont know what they bring but with the default guy they add a Boar shield and sell high end Armour. Also have a metal plated horse armor that’s better then the kne you find.

Head armor is from basic smithy, you don’t need upgrade.

Am on PC & 1.6
I have been to where you posted and have not found a ruined stone building. I have found a short distance away a ruined wood building east of the boar site and that shows as an interesting site
edit:
I am using the boar site closest the wood burners camps. It is not due north but north -north-east from there( about 30 degrees and 4 trees on the map) and after an hour real time searching I found it. It is NOT easy to find.

Looks like you the first who found it in the release version of the game and posted it. :wink:
But this place is one of the “secret” places from the BETA.
