An idea for the sequel of KCD

I had a lot of fun lockpicking with my two playthroughs amongst many things KCD offered. But one thing that I never understood is why Henry could never lock doors. Wouldn’t it be a good idea to introduce a mechanic where turning the lock anticlockwise opens the lock (which is what KCD offered) but also have locking doors as turning the lock clockwise. This would be useful in chases against guards or bandits and you’re outnumbered but have strong lockpicking skills. Quickly lock the door in time and you can get away/hide.
