Skyrim has “I used to be an adventurer like you…”
KCD has “henry has come to see us”…
I know its related to fact how is the main character dressed, i know there are multiple variations… add at least 3 more, so it would not be so annoying over time

Please not another “this game should be more like Skyrim” post. These are two different games and that´s good. If they were similar one of them wouldn´t sell anymore and they can close the studio. It´s refreshing to have a game that´s so different. No dragons, no magic spells, no fantasy stuff, just a realistic and historical correct game. But you are right that the “oh henry is here” or “Henry comes to see us” stuff is anoying
I am not comparing… its sort of an phenomenon.|
I realized that fully when videoblog comments with actor McKay started to contain this line…
Offler is more so saying, “Don’t be annoying the way Skyrim is”. It’s totally the opposite of “this game should be more like Skyrim”.
They could just say something like “hello Henery/hey Henery/sup Henery” instead of “Henery has come to see us!” like the whole town is going to have a circle-jerk. lol
Quite funny how some people reply. He did not say anything about wanting kcd to be more like skyrim.
This thead is like:
John: Nice weather don’t you think?
Peter: Yes I like to play soccer too!
Sorry, I´m not a native speaker so sometimes I can get things wrong. I´m sorry then
In this regard…
If you are a knight, well known one, and the people like you since you are not a murderer, people might greet you.
Obviously “Henry has come to see us” is derived/translated from Czech, but … its a sentence uttered when you came to see family members you havent seen in a while.
At this point I am not sure whether its historically accurate, at it could happen in small and closed village communities. People were more like family back then, and its hard for us to imagine that kind of living…
Lets assume, you are well known knight… what sentence comees first to your mind? “Look, its henry”.
I always pretend to be a well known knight that everyone knows from his good deeds.
I may be a bit off, but I like the greetings, and miss them at times. It would be nice to have Henry say something simple back, like “Hello there” or “Nice to see you, too”. No need to be face to face, just have a button to select a reply and hear Henry’s voice as you’re walking/riding through.
