Any GTX 780 users out there?

My current system is:
Processor-i5-3450 CPU @3.10GHz
Ram-8.00GB
GTX 780

Let me know if you need for information about my system ?
I apologize if this is a obvious noobish question but since my frame-rate is at about 25 fps, is the low fps due to the processor ? should I start thinking about upgrading it ?

I don’t know if anyone else has a GTX 780 aswell and are running at a higher fps ?

Thank you for your help to anyone reading and answering anyway possible.

I got a Palit GTX780 Super Jetstream. Currently still downloading but I will test later that day and give you feedback on my fps.

What settings? 1080p? 2k? 4k? high? medium? very high?

Ah I forgot sorry the setting was at low, 1980X1080p

25 fps is low for 780… I tested it on 780, core i5 4690K - 4.1 Mhz - 32-28 FPS, mid settings, 2560 x 1080.
I suppose the CPU is bottlenecking your GPU.

Is there a way to test the CPU while I playing the game it see the problem ?
Or I feel like I should just wait for the game to fully release THEN see tbh.

My GTX 780 seems to handle it fine. I do have higher specs

cpu: i7 4790
ram: 16gb ddr3
gpu: Gig gtx 780

Later you might see some small improvement from a newer card (of the same rank - so a 970/980, not a weaker 900 series). Right now, the game is nearly completely CPU and RAM bound.

Your 8GB is probably far more an issue than the GPU or CPU are (KCD allocates at least 6.6GB to the game process, and windows needs some on top of that).

I’ve got an MSI GTX970 and see almost no difference between low and very high in performance terms (similar to yours). My CPU is an older i5 2400 @3.1GHZ but I have 16GB available RAM.

Right now I’d suggest either waiting to see how optimisation progresses, or add another 8GB RAM. Not worth switching GPU at this time for this title. (Probably).

I don’t think the issue is your GPU. Your CPU could need a boost and adding some RAM wouldn’t hurt either. I get better framerate (28-38 fps on medium/high settings) with my GTX 680 in 1920x1080 on a 144Hz monitor which tells me that your 780 isn’t the main problem here.

My specs:

i5 3570K@4.2 Ghz
GTX 680 2GB VRAM@1.3GHz
16GB DDR3 1600 RAM
SSD
Win7/64
