I’ve pre-downloaded the xbox one digital version and it’s only 21GB. And the ps4 owners have about 46GB after day one patch installed.
I’m just wondering how good the xbox one x version is, considering the big gap between ps4 file size and xbox one size.
If ps4 pro version is much better from the xbox one x,i’ll buy on ps4 too.

I have the xbox one X version and it’s great! I’ve only had one issue so far and it’s just during the pickpocket training in Rattay. The game freezes if you go into your inventory during the training.

Xbox one x player here. Game crashes every 2-3 hours. Usually when going through the inventory/map screen.
Digital version or physical? Mine is digital version and so far so good,no crash.
Digital on SSD.
It progressively got worse. Such as in after I explored the map and had gained plenty of codex entries . Guessing that’s where the data clog is due to the menu screen in most cases being the cause for the crash.
The difference between ps4 and xbox comes from the fact that ps4 creates an extra file for the patch while xbox overwrites the older files. But you should wait at least a week until you play this game. I also have the xbox one x version and let me tell you it is a total disaster from a technical standpoint. Constant heavy pop in low fps, low texture resolution, no difference visally speaking between the base and X version.
I think mabe your xb1x is having the issue, because my xb1x is running the game great! No problems like you’re having.
I’m at 70+ hours now and I experience crashes every couple of hours as well.
