Any news on the respec potion?

The pc.update is live does it include the respec potion and how does it work?

WH said they’ve added it but I haven’t seen the recipe in game (yet). Maybe it’s somewhere I haven’t been yet or maybe it’s given once the player finishes the main quest line? These are just my speculations.

Respec potion? It sounds useful…

Yes they talked about that it would feature in the latest patch. Nobody is talking about it.

It sure would be helpful to trade in some bad choices.

Respec my authority

Dont testet, from the english localisation file:

Recipe for Lethean Water
You need spirits, two handfuls of wormwood, one of belladonna and a fly agaric.
Grind the wormwood.
Put the wormwood and belladonna in the cauldron.
Brew the wormwood and belladonna for three turns.
Add the fly agaric.
Distil.

Thanks i will try recipw before patch :laughing:

Respec potion will.let you redistribute your perks

Removing all skills you currently have in exchange for skill points I believe. Like witcher 3 where you have potion of clearance. Not entirely sure though.

Tried it but unfortunately it didn’t work. Might have messed something up but I tried twice.

Anyway, thanks.

It’s really not that useful, as you can get almost every skill available. All you need to do is sit on your skill points and never choose 1 or 2 cheap skills at most, while getting everything else. I’d never have to use a respec potion ever.

It’s meant for people who chose one of the perks that can’t be combined with other ones and then maybe want to take their character in another direction.

Just start a new game for that… The main quest and many of the side quests would no longer be available by the time someone decided to respec. But whatever works for each person is fine.

I made some mistakes early kn the game when I still was a beginner and hadn’t leveled up much and hadn’t found good gear so I chose Heavy Swing and Headcracker. I want a respec potion to limit myself even more. Also, I regret Insomniac. Now I’m sitting with several unspent points in e.g Warfare and Str because I don’t want to become more OP. I’m still limiting myself by using Thumper and/or a low-quality axe.
