Any way to get a better framerate?

I just got the game and it isnt running so well on my system. Im running on a mixture of low and medium. Can anyone help me? usual framrates range around 30-40

Specs:
Intel i5 6600k
gtx 960 4GB
8GB DDR4 2133 MHZ
1TB 7200RPM HDD

Thats pretty high.
Alpha version is not fully optimized and therfore you wont be able to run it on 60fps.
If you have 30 fps in the middle of Samopesh it is a dreamy number.

In about a month there will be Beta released and it should run better. So till then embrace your 30-40 fps because you will be stuck with them for a while

OH NO. Beta in about end of February begin of March? Thats terrible.

Terrible? thats pretty soon Iā€™d say.

Anyway my guess is it will be more at the begining of March.

Buy even better hardware:P

The game is not optimized yet. And also the first beta release will not be about optimizing, but about more content. When all the features are in the game, the designers can finish the environment, the NPCs. the quests and landscape, while the programmers will optimize the world, as they are not needed to develop new content. anymore.

Every delay is terrible and every second sooner is the Jackpot.

Mate I am getting about 45 FPS stable in the ā€˜Very Highā€™ graphics preset, barely 30fps (more like 25-30 FPS) in the combat arena. As mentioned previously, the alpha has not been fully optimized at this stage. I do remember a Dev update video in which the bloke mentioned this had something to do with how npc instances are currently inefficiently resource intensive.

Now, I have a bit of a beast rig set up at the moment and if I am getting only marginally better performance than most then you have very little to worry about. This game will be available on consoles after all, so your specs should be more than sufficient.

Agreed, thankfully there hasnā€™t been any yet.

They said. Q1. 1st January is perfect, 31 March is terrible.

U would rather have a rushed game instead of a nice playing game?
In my opinion its not necessarily a bad thing if the devs delay something and Q1 is from 01.01 to 31.03.
So they still have much time.

Its Beta anyways. It wont be a nice playing game. The game when its finished has to be a nice playing game. Thats my standard. What I want? More good content. I played Tech Alphas and wanna play Beta not for perfect nice playing games.

I need my daily Kingdomcome drug full of content otherwise i go crazy until the release.

I actually have to. My Rig is pretty outdated nowdays(i7 3,2 ghz, geforce 770, 8gb), so i will save my money for an new Rig. God thing is, that the current gen is released already, and iā€™m sure it will take time until Nintendo NX will released, so i can Focus on my next Rig now. I even consider to save a bit more for Occulus, even though iā€™m not sure yet. I mean the Price is way to high for what it offers in ā€œmy opinionā€ and the Money i could better use on the Rig itself. I mean i already planned arount 2000ā‚¬, and that is MUCH money, so it will take time when i have saved up this much, but i think it will worth. But like i said Iā€™m not sure about Occulus. I kinda think it would be amazing experience to play KCD with occulus^^

The gameā€™s performance is pretty poor on most machines atm which is fine. I donā€™t think that it will get much better in Beta, but hopefully it will get better after.

Maybe there could be an option in the settings which would drastically lower the quality of the graphics (ie totally turning off shadows, reflections)? Iā€™d love to test the gameā€™s mechanics (like combat) properly, but it is hard to do so with very low FPS (of course I have no idea how difficult it would be to implement this option).
