Of course they do. The sound of the world is so sweet. (Much sweeter than the consequencies of freedom and the rather peculiar topic of what freedom really means.)
But they love money much more.
How it works? In case the America remains the land of plenty (or especially the land of the promise of plenty) people donât care they are not free. Itâs the same principle that worked in the Eastern Bloc. (I hope you wonât argue Americans are better people than Hungarians or Germans or Polish etc.) But when there is no plenty for people to hope for they could perhaps remember those freedoms their forefathers dreamed about.
So for you the right to carry a gun means freedom? How funny. Perhaps you should move to Pashtunistan, Bogota or some other nice place.
Money have the value we attribute to them. Until there is the general consensus ten USD banknote is worth ten one dollar banknotes it is really worth them. Money is just the symbol of value. No more - and no less.

agree. but whitout annything to back up the money they have no value. the origin of money was to show that you had some real value in the bank. but today people think that the value is in the money itself. and thats wrong. today the world have alot more money then actually value. its all about the digital money. the banks cant support the digital money. if evryone want ther money out at the same time the banks are fucked. we are betther off putting our money in some real value like realestate

Thatâs really nice ideology. But I doubt freedom is actually more valuable for the majority of people than e.g. Facebook. Of course in case you persuade people that their freedoms are endangered they would get angry. But the real freedom they care about is the freedom to turn the telly on after returning from work. The freedom to visit the shopping mall and cinema on saturday and to have nice children playing footbal and enjoying their Scout uniforms and the freedom to choose a nice mortgage with the pretty suburban plywood house.
I suppose poverty is much more serious threat to the status quo than the feeling of dwindling freedom.
Are you able to buy something valuable to you for them or are you not? You are. In case the money devalue in hyperinflation they would loose the value and you would not be able to exchange them for something valuable to you. Therefore money have considerable value but the holder of money is in danger they can loose the value - because they are no longer backed by the gold standard.

Real estate is quite a bubble nowadays. 
The thing is - every value is determined by common evaluation of the thing by society. Money could loose their value. So could turkish carpets, works of art, gold mine shares or spanish bonds. There is no real value independent on society and the evaluation of society. There is no safe property.
just one more thing im gonna throw out there, if you ask any gun owner, they will very likely tell you they would fight to the death before they would let the government take their firearms. its that important to us. you may not understand why, but it is none the less.
i never sayd that money is whitout value if they have somthing to back it up. what i ment is that they can be whitout value if you goverment fails. look at germany after ww2. the people had to bring ther money in wheelbarrow to get 1 bread. ther money had no value

i know that real estate have some trobble today. but the fact is that. people need som place to live. so sooner or later the value of real estate will rice again. norwegians is bying houses in spanish gost towns dirt cheep. and china is buying real estate in detroit. its a safe investment.
