Itching to play this now, after abandoning my first attempt shortly after release. Seeing quite a few people claiming current build is much improved, so wondering if now is the time? Or is another patch imminent which would make it a better idea to wait a little longer?
Everything is so random with this game you should try for yourself.
Just clear all saves and start fresh!
The majority of the glaring issues have been resolved according to most people’s reports. No imminent patches, the next one is speculated to be focused on optimization so I agree with @Erik078 it’s best to try it for yourself.
I hope with “optimization” they mean things like:
- Options to customize the HUD transparency and size
- Dialogs render in full-screen without the black borders
- Mouse support in dialogs (for PC)
- Enhance the radius of river sounds
- Fix more bugs (without to add new)
No. Optimization means improving performance, regardless this is simply speculation on the community’s part. If you want those things I suggest you contact WH directly and request them.
I believe they are reading their forums and these comments.
The next patch will definitely bug fixing too. They already confirmed to fix the Theresa loading issue.
And I hope performance optimization will not mean a graphical downgrade. Rather I want a graphical upgrade for a cost of performance.
N3xt patch will be after the summer.
Hallows eve patch.
Werewolves in Rattay.
Vampires in Sassau.
The ghosts of Skalitz…
Really Doubt it. not player wishes, more like getting to play better with non top tier systems and areas that wreck FPS and more bug hunting.
I’m on Vanilla ps4 and wanted to see how the game performed now. (Beat it pre 1.3)
+R2 is finally fixed
-Popins are worse than ever before and quest bugs requires New game to be fixed.
I’ve started a new playline after 1.4.3 patch on vanilla PS4. I’m past the 100 hours mark, not even a single bug, stutter or halberd lying on the ground. To me the game is amazing now.
@TheCountryPicker That’s my favourite response right there. Thanks.
Okay. Wish me luck. I have a bottle of mead and high expectations. I’m going in.
Pop ins… and sometimes as you approach buildings that are already loaded up in the background they disappear and then pop back in very slowly… that’s about the only thing that is bugging me on my current play through.
