Anyone know when the next update will land we’ve been waiting a while know but I don’t want to rush it just asking how long till it is released

Love the game but needs update

We just got an update less than three weeks ago

Many see it as a 'down’date.

It kinda looks like they are back to being rushed and that the last 'down’date only happened so they could release/sell an unpolished game inclusion.

An actual update would improve more than ot breaks.

So yes, when is the next update?

Will it be patch 1.82?!

Edit to add: this is the tone of posts of an untrusting customer.

Agree. Wish WH would slow down a bit on the DLC front until popins, etc are more under control and better finishing in the game itself and ashes

I meant to the @Whitedragem. PM on something we are working on for me.

The 1.6 was a downgrade indeed. I am as many others in this forum, a huge fan of WH but I am not a fanboy. This means that too much shady business like releasing the 1.6 downgrade just to be able to release a DLC that despite the cheap price, still failed to deliver on way too many expectations. Those two issues combined makes the game in dire need of a 1.7 update that deals with the main issues of the game and those are not lacks of more DLCs.

As it stands the 1.7 needs to be released quite soon as 1.6 imade pop ins way worse than earlier and made the armour and clothing that Henry wears, clipping like crazy so I can see the plate through my tabard or whatever it is called. The third issue is that 1.6 actually broke the visuals regarding an armours status when it comes to if said armour is damaged, dirty or even bloody. The visuals representing these elements are plainly not in game anymore, how the heck can an update make so many things worse and at the same time take away visual mechanics that the game is famous for?

I sincerely believe there should there should be a hotfix that reintroduce the blood and dirt visuals so we again can play the game and be immersed in the fantastic story. Then WH can go and work on a real update instead of the sad excuse that is 1.6

I am playing on ps4-pro so I am sadly forced to play with the 1.6
In this case I wish I was playing on PC as I have heard those users are able to go back and play on the 1.5 version.

WH should really come to these forums and tell us when they are planning to give us the 1.7 as it is sorely needed.

They fckup game in three weeks (time between 15 and 1.6) now in three weeks refuse to us even fckn hotfix. When game brought big profits Warhorse was SO much “involved”, “interested”, “communicative”, now full letup. In last weeks Kingdom Come: Deliverance (Beta Access) was updated in steam DB several times everyday. From the morning hours on Friday - silence, I think that it really is that they made a vacation so we will wait another week, or two. Nobody cares in WH.

Sadly this seems the case. WH has only themselves to blame as an hotfix or if that is too difficult, a discussion and some information here on the forum from WH could repair the lost trust. I payed good money for this game and I bought the DLC to support WH, as a thank you they could at least make the game playable again or in the very least tell us when we will be able to play the game as intended again.

I would like to add some personal opinions to this discussion. My personal circumstances is that I work and travel a lot while working, at the same time I have a family to take care of and I am sure many shares this situation with me. On top of that I take care of my Father that has locked in syndrome as a result from a stroke ten years ago. So for ten years I and my mother have taken care of him so he can survive as he can only move his eyes. He made me the man I am and I love him to death and will continue to do my very best to make his life as good as possible and at the same time work hard so my children do not need to live in poverty as I did as a child.

I do not say this to make people feel sorry for me so by chance anyone does, please do not. I am very happy with my life as I have a beautiful and fantastic wife and a fantastic daughter and the best son any father could wish for. I also have an economy that while not exactly making me rich, still makes me and my family living a nice and comfortable life and having the opportunity to travel and see the world from time to time.

But my time playing games is very limited and I really love playing games as it has been part of my life since I was a child. So when WH damage their game with an update like 1.6 and seems to have no will to fix it with any speed, it makes me question if this investment in the end was worth it. I would like to believe that I purchased the game and both DLCs to get a great gaming experience and supporting WH with their vision.

Every week that passes makes me lose valuable time that I had put aside for gaming as I do not have much time to put aside for it.

Not working out of their studio, all I can do is speculate.

I understand there are certain things to be candid about.
I also know they need to get a handle on nigh hard to lock down console issues.

When they lessened texture quality, it may have been intentional to see if large data loads were tripping up the system (or something else).
Feedback now exists to them about that.

As an ongoing investigation: they may have needed to return the product back to an earlier state (like a control group), and now might be testing the effect of the clothing/damage systems (easing cpu or other systems), and again, measure feedback (how did it help).

We might be waiting for the next patch whilst they collaborate data and figure out a best path forward…

The knowledge about these decisions is with the studio.
I know if we give them trust, and they are worth that trust, they are in a great place to make use of our patience and everyome will (eventually) benefit.

More often that not I simply believe they are coding issues from tired team members.
Which suggests that a miskeyed byte should have instant turnaround by a hotfix.

Its the lack of communication on ’ what and why ’ that leaves us with possibly unfounded concerns.
Time will reveal.

Based on past patches I actually waited for 1.6 to have been out for awhile before I downloaded it.
(Never grabbed 1.61 if there is such a thing)

Given I have never had graphical issues of just about any sort with this game (I have seen three instances- one character build in a middle distance amd two examples of holes in the head around the eyes (only shown in shadow)), i figured listed issues with 1.6 wouldnt effect me.

And they dont.
(Still have a perfect experience)
Now as for the DLC? No way Id risk it.
What Id gain isnt worth what Iwould risk. Easy decision.

Damn, such a long tittle. I think it will take a while for an update as WH seems content with the DLC and bug fixes.

I sincerely hope you are wrong but with WH, who knows!? If they tried to play it on any PS4-system, I am certain they would not feel that they did a very good job with the 1.6 downgrade.

I thought Vavra made a twitter post merely weeks or days ago showing how well this PC runs on one of his shittier laptops. I doubt they will change stance.

I am sure you are correct and that is that sad part. On PS4 and PS4-pro there are no visuals representing damage to armour or clothes, pop ins of objects are far worse compared to 1.5 and of course the clipping of armour-parts added after 1.6

But sure, the game is definitely not ugly but beautiful to look at. But I do not want to look at the game, I want to play it also and the joy of playing the game on console has been severely reduced with the 1.6 downgrade.

That would be nice. I just want what is essential in a functional relationship: candor. You made a tradeoff decision? Fine! Tell us so in the release notes and patch communications.

And then, implement a different support dynamic: instead of me experiencing, thinking about it, explaining to WH support in an email and then both of us engaging in email ping pong, it’d be helpful if WH support told me directly what I’m likely to expect and what I can specifically do to help them troubleshoot.

Suppressing even if unintentionally information about an expected performance hit to be suffered as a consequence of the next patch is to lack transparency in deeds. To do so whilst touting a new product offering is :zipper_mouth_face:.

and then both of us engaging in email ping pong,…

Exactly… its their resources tied up for lilttle gain when they already know about it…

And likely frustrating for users trying to communicate issues…

Knowing if they have (possibly) reintroduced an issue IS confidence building.
(Shows they know something about their product; ideally shown before we kniw about it- the way it should be)

My another two cents.
Communication - knowledge of when update will be relese will allow me (PC user) to take “preventive action” - back to 1.5 and have that mistake (1.6) deep in the ssa.
Willingness to help the customer (for us) - result: (potential) possibility to rollback steam KCD to an earlier correct version.
Now I can only keep my eye on KCD forum, WH twitter, reddit, steam DB, steam news and comments section with hope that I will be able to play in full-fledged KCD again, day by day.
You now what is funny? it’s all because KCD is (or rather was) so wonderful and unique game, deserved (like all of us - enthusiasts) for more care and love from creator
