I got polearm skill up from the commander guy
But i cant find any two handed axe/polearm in the game and there is no polearm skill tree is this a bug ? because the commander guy teach it

No perks, because it´s the most powerful weapon (beside the bow)
He means you can pay Bernard for polearm lessons (basic, slightly advanced, advanced, ect), just like you can for the sword, mace, and axe. Unlike those three though, there is no visible level in polearms. It’s either hidden or the game allows you to waste money on a skill that doesn’t exist.
That skill was removed and this is probably oversight. Believe me, you don’t need skills to use polearms 
Hmm, that’s a shame. Polearms are weapons like any other, and the treatises show a complexity of technique that matches that of the more “glamorous” swords. It would be nice if you became faster and more competent with them as you increased in skill.

You get better with them as you standard combat prowess improves, you just can’t unlock any specific weapon perks
That make sense, my character seemed more fluid with one after a few hours of practice. You can’t do the perfect parry with them can you? I never saw the green shield pop up like with the other weapons. It also looks like you can’t defend or attack directly overhead?
