Inserting pictures is for higher backers only. They will get an ingame portrait in a church or castle. It is for Emperor, Pope and Illuminatus tiers. We have only a few of them, 62, and some are even members of Warhorse team. 
Unfortunately I can’t login that page. I did not back the game as such more as won the game code in a contest. So I guess it does not apply.
Okay, this is a special case. I think you won a code, not a pledge, is that correct?
I will ask my colleague about it tomorrow. I think here is no need to fill something into a profile.

Um… it is… ehrm… about the physical pledges, and about the ingame features for the higher backers, names on memorials and portraits in churches.
