So as i mentioned before and i know some of you have the same issue with the corrupt saves when the game crashed and we lost all our precious hours of gameplay… i wrote to warhorse about the patch 1.3 if it will be able to fix the corrupt saves and if the game will recognize the saves… they answered no… we have to play a new game… but the saves wont be corrupt no more with the new game… forget your old saves they re done… so please if yall playing it on PS4 wait till the patch 1.3… because if your game crashes you will lose everything and have to start all over again…
Ugh!! I have done my fair share of replaying lost progress. This is too much. I progress for 6 hours in and then lose 4 hours due to this bug or that.

for me they should have fix it in the day one patch… because they knew about it 2 years ago… in the pc beta version… now we just have to wait for patch 1.3 and play it again hoping it wont crash… i dont even know if im going to play this game in a long time again… even if it was one of the best experiences i had with an RPG game… its frustrating on a new level…

Are all ur saves being lost or just the last one. Are u waiting 4 hours to save. I might be mistaken but I think u have to sleep before than in which case the game saves.
all my saves are corrupt… when i was on the main quest to neuhof where all the horses are dead… the game crashed… and before i didnt have any issues with the saves… i played normally i saved in my bed and some camps… everything was fine… until that quest… the game crashed… than it told me that the saves were corrupt… and in the main menu i couldnt and still cant load my saves… even if i downloaded from the cloud with psn plus… i see the file… its actually 1 file with 350MB but the game doesnt recognize it… so i wrote an email to them… and they told me that everything was lost… but with the 1.3 patch there will be no more corrupt saves… so when it comes out maybe ill start over again… or never play it again…
Well shit that sucks. At least u will b better the next time through. I get your frustrations though I haven’t had to deal with them personally.
thanks… i was having so much fun but now its all gone… but at least i have to tell the other ones who have the same issue that the 1.3 patch wont fix the corrupt saves… so we have to restart again…

I just want to clarify that this isn´t true and the issue you talk about and issue that you encountered on PS4 are completely different. So no, it wasn´t in the beta 2 years ago.

Sadly the beta has some trouble with saving and loading the game and I think our savefile is saddly ruined.

ok but can you please tell me what is going on with the save files… why corrupted? and if you know the issue why dont tell the people who are playing now and maybe gonna have a crash and lose everything… at least warn us… i was good with the glitches etc… fine i understand… but cashing in the middle of the game after so many hours… and lose everything… and then just tell me it is a different issue… if you know what it is just warn the people… im not hating but i lost all the fun of the game with that crash… just dont want others to have the same…

Patch 1.3 didn’t fix anything, my saves all got corrupted and there were still plenty game destroying bugs. I speak in the past tense because I buried my copy of KCD with a concrete coffin in an unmarked grave. 15th century style.
