Am I the only one having so much trouble with this quest? And then I’m just talking about the first part, defeating the thugs and Cumans and staying alive.
I didn’t sabotage them before hand, which I now dearly regret. The archers are a pain.
I keep failing this quest on dying, loosing too much men, or this glitch where the game just shuts off.
Dying happens sometimes without ANY warning by a head shot from an archer.
I’ve tried for hours, any tips?

If you’re able to go and explore the world, do side quests and better prepare yourself. I spent probably 70hrs+ of gameplay before I got to this quest and I sliced everyone like butter. I even cleared the camp on my own during the scout part - tho that did little to help the battle as they all respond. But you get the point

I’m about 15 hours in and I’m already a living God. This game rules.

So when did you get a copy of the game then? Mathematically it’s impossible for you to have that many hours if you got the game at release, like the rest of us peasants.

Maybe it is on their end. there’s only 120 hours in 5 days though, so that only leaves you with less than 8 hours of sleep according to your screenshot and seeing as you are still alive, you must have slept longer than that. lol. The lesson learned today is to never trust Microsoft.
Perhaps it has to do with that feature on my Xbox were when I turn it off to go to bed, then when I wake up and turn it on I’m immedietly back into where I left off.
Ahhh, that’s what it is. Playstation is the same way. It counts all of that time as “time played”. I really wish PSN and Microsoft would fix that issue.

I had too much fun getting myself killed by the two bandits to the east of the monestary where you have to retrieve that gem… lol. Terrible memories. Too many deaths and too much running. Stupid fool I was

As for op, get a shield it’ll save you from the arrows and a full faced helmet if possible. Try training more with blunt weapons like maces or axe since you’ll be facing plated up enemies. Get divish to give you all his men and try to poison the food atleast in the scout mission.
I think he’s level 4 or 5. And my strength is at 6. That should be enough right? I read that there’s a way of setting fire to some hay stacks, but I’m not sure if that’s still possible after the sabotage option.
Also, yeah 70 hours is a lot : p But I do feel like I’ve spent 70 hours trying this quest. No joke, but I think I’ve died around 20-30 times… sigh
I did it at around level 10 with 13 strength. After you sabotage the arrows, I doubt setting fire to the hay will be needed. If you scout all the infiltration points, radzig will pick the best one and it’ll be easier. Poisoning and sabotaging the arrows really makes it easy. Level up a bit more and get better armor. You’ll beat it easily
