I finally got into the final battle. The army with me killed a lot of enemies and suddenly there was ‘loosing’ cut scene. Can I do something to win? (poison the food, burn arrows, take their horses, choose some attach route, kill many Cumans, …)
Did any of you had a winning cutscene?
Kill enemies. None of the things you mentioned influence the outcome of the battle.
You can light the hay on fire, during the battle, and that’s supposed to obscure the archer’s view, but you have to waste time getting there, which is time you could be spending killing enemies.
Once you’ve killed a few enemies, you will outnumber the enemy, and they will get ganked. If you hide and do nothing, you will lose.

The great part about this game, is that win or lose, the story will still go on. When I had my first big scale battle, I only killed one guy and we won. Probably because I chose to take more soliders then I needed lol
You got lucky. I have taken 20 reinforcements, killed several enemies, and had Robard call for a retreat. OP archers killing 2-3 of your guys before they attack anything, and they keep going. You need to kill the archers fast.
