Be kind to the bad players

Developers please make it more able to play the combat game without having to try 2 hours a mission. I am awful at combat for some reason. I use full plate armor yet a few peasant bandits seems to have more armor. I tried doing a speech play trough but that seems to work only half of the time, the other half of the time I die also.
Can+t we get a console command like god mode or add HP for those really bad players under us like me. I like your game master developer but please, keep in mind it is a game.

lol… thats a joke right?

No it is not. I tried many missions for 2 hours. For example the misterious knight mission I had to fight bandits. It took me 2 hours trying every time, every time I died so I ran in the cave but then I had to fight again. I also died. Then I quit. I tried the mission with the pyriska fort battle like 4 hours in total. Only at the end I survived. Just add god mode and I will be happy.

Personally I feel combat is fine. You need to level up your skills and learn how to approach various different enemies from bandits to full plate knights.

That last thing I would want them to do is nerf the game for people who are struggling with aspects just to make the game easier.

Too many games make you a stupidly powerful character that can take on 20 enemies at once.

This game has gone for a realistic simulation of medieval combat and realistic historically game. They would ruin the game just to nerf it just to make some people feel overpowered

God mode would ruin this game

Just mind yourself and explore the map, you’ll find it gets much easier once you acquire a sufficient amount of coin.

You don´t have to use it. Just make it a console command. Maybe you like to play and die 4 hours straight. Well have fun, no need to stop you. But do care about those who are bad and won´t wanna play 4 hours dying straight. Godmode would be a console command, you don´t need it. Simply don´t turn it on. If you cannot hold the temptation then you are just giving yourself a lame excuse. Realisme is nice but 6 hours dying straight not.

Not really a lame excuse it’s me giving my opinion that a god mode would ruin the game.

It’s meant to be challenging the whole point of this game is that you are terrible at everything and are meant to build up your skills slowly and gradually.

No need to try the " if you can’t resist the urge to use it is a lame excuse"

That’s like me saying it’s lame if you can’t play a game without a god mode and having to be overpowered.

Your meant to be challenged, the whole point of thinking of your approach and how to fight different opponents, how you fight a lightly padded armour should differ from fighting a trained knight in full plate.

If you were invincible that whole aspect of the game would be pointless.

The whole prologue basically holds you hand to teach you the basics.

Our opinion on this subject obviously will differ but I don’t agree with the developers putting a mode like God mode in a game that would completely undo a part of what the developers worked so hard to create

Practice a bit with your skills before adventuring out.

I would but I cannot do free fighting training anymore at a combat area. Not at Rattay, not at Radzig´s camp. Nowhere. I have to train on living people sadly. Which if we speak about ´´realisme´´ is strange.

Let me help you out here. Before going out and exploring/questing, find the sword trainer in Rattay, and spend as much time with him as you need. The more you practice with him, the better you’ll be (both as a player, and as a character). There is no need to dumb this game down.

You should be able to train with the captain of the guard in Rattay.

Are you really that bad that you need a god mode to play the game, just practice and level up your skills dont rush the main quest if you are not able to beat regular bandits go do side quest and level up your skills

Combat in this game isn’t even remotely difficult. I don’t get where this audience group comes from that seem to have trouble with the combat/think it’s hard. Like wtf are they, a bunch of old history buffs who don’t actually play video games ever but bought KCD just because they like medieval history?

All these people nowadays forget what games were originaly made for asside from being fun. They are meant to challenge us. If people dont want to be challenged thier are plenty of hack and slash games like Assasins Creed which pose very little challenge. Specically Origins and Odyssy which are far too easy and basically ruined the francise for me. They always were pretty easy though. Put your time into the game. Its meant to be hard. Ever tried beating any of the old Atari or original Nintendo games some of those were damn near unbeatable. I ended up beating Super Mario Brothers as an adult. Never could do it as a kid. You people got your way and they made lock picking easier. You got your way with an amended save system and probably more i cant think of. The mod community took care of some other things. Wait for a mod and stop asking the DEVS to ruin the game.

He is likely waiting for you in another area with a quest. Go explore the stables ( cant remember the name at the moment) he is likely there. If you have beat that mission than Im not sure where he is but hes around. Make sure its the proper time of day also. People dont just stand around all day with their thumbs up their butt waiting on you. They have lives to live.

Do you guys really reply to a 1 Year old post ??

Calm down Dude
