Beautiful talented Warhorse Studios

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an absolute masterpiece. Let me get that said right off the bat.

But this is also a response to so many complaints about technical issues…which I agree are certainly problematic at this stage, but they will be sorted out in due time.

I have absolutely no regret about spending £54.99 for the PS4 Pro version or downloading on a 1.3Mbps internet speed, which took almost an entire week. It’s been well worth it. The experience has been utterly breathtaking and I’m totally in love with the game.

“but we should not pay $60 for a game that’s this broken”

I understand the anger and frustration…but did anyone honestly, hand on heart…really expect this game to release in perfect working order???
With all the previous examples of AAA games of this kind of scope releasing in seriously compromised states?

Ever since Fallout 4 released…I have seen COUNTLESS people hate on it and declare Fallout: New Vegas as the best ever Fallout game. Yet I can still remember that Fall 2010 when New Vegas released and it was an utter mess…with game breaking, save corrupting bugs left, right and centre. There certainly was not much love being showered on that for many months post release.

I am absolutely loving my time with Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Despite it crashing on me within 15 minutes of playing it for the first time, the excessive pop in and tons of other bugs.

I think it’s only fair to cut Warhorse Studios some slack and be more hopeful of the upcoming fixes they will no doubt implement down the road. I think we need to accept the days of games releasing in perfect condition (at least these big open world games anyway) are a thing of the past. It’s unfortunate…but surely we can appreciate that these things are becoming more inevitable.

The game has sold very well…we need more games of this type that cater towards single play only gamers, and help encourage other potential developers that its a worthwhile venture. Maximum props and respect to Warhorse Studios.
