the cool thing in this game is your just a normal guy not a godly guy with superpower that is unstoppable.
Well it’s certainly a unique selling point…but I’ve got a feeling it’s going to get annoying quickly when I get beaten to death by a farmer
I’ve gotta agree with Zero i rather like being a normal guy besides you don’t need to be a lord to control armies as i stated before. You could just become a ruthless thug or something else there is free choice after all.
I’m sure that you’ll be Knighted or something towards the end of the campaign. Peasants were often Knighted due to valour and martial skill.
And here it comes.
If you got beaten by a farmer so easy. Stop dreaming about being a superhero. Do your training since the saying mentions: “The more we sweat in peace the less we bleed in war.” And just get good and be prepared proberly.
For furter information on risks and side-effects please ask your drill sergeant!
Really? In medieval times? So you have no problem to name at last more than 20 commoners who where Knighted due to valour. And if possible not only commoners of one kingdom.
If only Prague was in the game.
Than there should be a chance to become the king of the beaggers of Prague.
Wow…that was 3 in a row of bitchy remarks:joy: I don’t dream of being a superhero…I’m looking forward to be normal in the game…I think it’s a good selling point…I also believe that ppl need to understand sarcasm and not take things so seriously
No problem. It’s only harder at a forum to detect sarcasm when you can’t look into a face and see the wink of a jester.
Commoner could be knighted, but certanly not due to valour. There qere knights that belived ans lived by the ethical principles but most were just HR soldiers… If a commoner was knighted its because he was close to a lord/monarch and showed great martial skills. Or if he was a high class commoner (Very rich one)… Or ofcoursw if he joined one of the knightly orders, which again was not easy. Teutons for example only let aristocrats and bastard sons of priests
I mean earlier in medieval times it was common. By this time it was less common.
True, especially when you see today’s preview, you understand why you’re not gonna become some godly hero as game takes time in only one year and remember no fantasy.
So when the stands (noble, clergy and commoner) where established during the middle ages the europian feudal society had become relative unflexible in most places until the french revolution?
I have the same idea that would be awesome! I pray we will get it!
Bastard had opportunity to be a knecht. You know, what i mean.
Maybe if he is a accepted bastard. Not accepted bastards mostly didn’t got any aid from their father.
There was also a saying about the sons of a noble man but I do not know if I get it right.
As far as I can remember it was like this: “The first son is the heir, the second is for the church and all others are for the war.”
But, look at Sir Radzig… How caring he’s.
New thread name, can we just become a priest?
You can. Also there’s a mission.
No, I mean for the entire game😂
