Best armor and weapons in the game?

What is/are the best armor/weapons in the game in terms of defense/attack and where can I get them?

My current armor: Italian Bascinet, a full set of Nurembergian plate armor (but I also have a full Milanse set)
Chainmail: Noble’s Mail Coif, Long Noble Hauberk, Mail Chausses
Weapons: Magdeburg Sword, Sasau Shield, Elm Longbow

Is there still much better equipment? Because I couldn’t find much better in the shops or on bandits.

I’ve noticed that Aachen brigandine works better than plate armour. Also the Hungarian hauberk is better than the noble one.
