A Stealth Thief Type Character mostly automatically Main Weapon is the Bow and Dagger. But I’m wondering what is the Best Main weapon for this character would be for Better Perfects, Easier Dodges and overall just faster strikes? As always, Thanks!
Probably a short sword or saber.
Truth is, the weapons are designed to match the enemies armor. Maces and axes are better than swords when dealing with enemies in full plate, but if they’re just wearing a gambeson then daggers and swords work great.
I simply say short swords or sabers because using them quickly increases your agility.

Thief type char must not be facing with his enemies in open fights. So “Main Weapon” is just a thing to sell. You don’t need it. You’re able to kill literally everyone with a dagger.

Longsword generally has the best defense values, with some going well over 100. Shortswords have the second best. Axes and maces are generally inferior. Outside the longsword, it’s advisable to use a shield to keep defense above 100 - with some shields having 150 defense. Shields, strangely enough, don’t affect your stealth skills to any degree.
Nothing should have a real impact on dodging, except for the light armor perk in the agility tree and subsequently not wearing anything but light armor (be careful about equipping leather gloves as the game considers them heavy for some reason).
For fast strikes you want a short sword. Stinger is crazy good if you don’t mind spamming stab.
I wear Hunter Gloves? Is that considered Leather Heavy?

The stabbing? I used to just use that over and over, Glad it got fixed.

Dagger 90% of the time for stealth kills but incase you do get into a melee, noble sword probably the best.

Thats what im using right now.
