I bought the game today, but no steam (beta) key was sent to me. Sure, I can download the launcher, but I really want to play it on steam… so am I missing anything or what 
?

If you bought beta today, you will be able to download it only through downloader. However maybe @DrFusselpulli will have some spare steamkeys, but they are limited in numbers so that depends.

Yes, but they will be available for everyone later after release, so don’t worry 
The beta Steam keys were only for original backers. No one purchasing the game now can play the beta on Steam.

This is true for the Beta, but you will get a new Steam Key at the release of the game later. So don´t worry
