Big cities in KC:D act 3

I’ve played witcher 3 i’ve seen very big cities like novigrad or beauclair and i know KC:D cities and villages are historical places. But i also know prague was the big city in 1403 Bohemia so will we see big city or fortresses in act 3?

Hard to answer since act 1 is not even released
I could imagine having a bigger city and I think it would be good to have especially prague would be interesting.
As far as I know prague had about 40.000 Inhabitants at that time

According to this (inofficial) map of Act I, Rataje will be the biggest city we have

is skallice castle become hostile after the hungarian invasion

I think you will didn’t see a big city like prague, couse:
"Enjoy the huge, reconstructed map of medieval south Bohemia: enter villages, engage in interactions with NPCs and participate in castle sieges and large, historically accurate battles! Beware of deep forests, as you can actually get lost in them!"

It plays in the province of shout Bohemia, cities yes, big cities no.
Thats my impression

Greets Excrucio

yeah but in a new act it could be that you maybe travel to a big city
the journey doesnt even have to be shown it could be that the next act plays in a different environment
But I guess that would be too much work to create an entire new map so I think the map will just be expanded

If anything, we could see Kutna Hora (Kuttenberg), which is about 30 kilometers north-east from Talmberg. It was in its times almost as big as the Prague towns, and in 1403 still a considerable habitation and a commercial hub.

That’d be exciting of course but hardly doable when you think about the amount of NPCs etc.

Another two locations which are nearby are a seizable town Divisov, and a fantastic castle Sternberg by the Sasau river. I do have my private suspicion (or at least a wet dream) that the Sternberg castle has made it to KCD and will be one of the surprises awaiting us (no info or hints to back my suspicion sadly. It’s just too close to our location for Warhorse completely to overlook).

@Elendor, I love your suggestions!

Oh yeah, Sternberg would be awesome. It is very close, but unfortunately outside of the map. I still hope there will be a Sternberg mod later, because it would fit perfectly.

At least we will have an abbey. Ik its not really a city but in middle ages they were very important and economicly advanced

Sad panda… I’d be surprised if Dan hadn’t considered Sternberg when scanning the terrain back in pre-kickstarter times. In real world, it’s only three curves of the river south of Ratay!

Yes, Indeed.

 Yes, but 11km in the year 1403, that´s a day travel.
And don´t forget, in the year 1403 was Sternberg much smaller than now.
(but would be a nice extentsion of the KCD world)

Warhorse cut several river bends in order to get Sasau monastery and Skalitz closer no problem
