Bit of a combat wishlist

A more ‘selective’ targeting system, allowing focus on bodyparts.

Improved combat on horses and mounted opponents (early days for me yet, but I haven’t seen/faced any).

More differentiation between helmets (A 15 point Kettle vs a 17 point visored type is a no brainer purely on the basis of improved visibility).

Improvements to the ‘combat opponent lock’ system…it’s difficult to break contact and leg it when the system keeps locking you onto targets, plus it has significant issues with handling groups.

Technically it already works like that, though improvements do need to be made.

That’s because it doesn’t exist. Before the game released, there was mounted combat, however Dan Vavra didn’t like it, so he had it scrapped and left only a barebone skeleton of it in game. The mounted combat will come out with a DLC.

Yeah, I’m on board with this. There’s a visored helm in the game that has worse stats than a kettle helm. How the hell is something that protects you more have worse stats than something that has no visor?

I agree. Trying to flee on foot is impossible.

i hope so. meanwhile, the waiting game commences… :baby::boy::man::older_man::skull:

not sure how they’re going to pull it off as long as body direction, weapon use, and gallop are all on the right controller. QA said not going to change

Well… face is separated hit area that visor protects.

Maybe the bascinet is old and brittle or smt
