Black Peter is ignored by the guards and law ! [spoiler: Dead Men Tell No Tale]

Black Peter chased me down all through Rattay,
I had my weapons shieved,
all guards ignored him !
He poisoned me in front of everyone…
Guards, instead, were scolding me for not using a torch at night… Sigh.

I ended up poisoned twice, with no help nor reaction from anyone across all of Rattay.

Let us recall the context : it begins with an odd meta-message from the game about my behavior and my reputation when Black Peter ambushes me ! So I behaved like a good citizen and ran to the gates of Rattay…

Do not dare get me wrong. I can beat the guy in the tourney and again, but I presumed getting him seen in action was a proper solution. At the very least, Guards should see me being attacked!

would be nice if the guards did take notice of attacks on henry by hostile NPCs when henry isn’t fighting.

In Sassau i lured some bandits into town on horseback and the guards attacked and killed them thus saving my(Henry’s) ass.
In my opinion guards DO notice attacks on Henry …well maybe not in Rattay though, because the attacks take place inside the citywalls where guards behave differently but thats just a theory.

Sometimes they do !
Early on, a few thugs attacked me near the guards in Rattay :
we had a huge brawl with the guards on my side.

@Shadowfox : I lured Black Peter from outside first. The two first guards ignored him no matter where I was. Then I ran across town :stuck_out_tongue: Everyone acted like he was invisible.

Black peter is utterly ignored by the program.
